Crown Lands set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND CONSERVATION REGION.
All those areas in the Otago Land District containing together 1,006 acres 0 roods 22 perches, and described as follows :—
All that area containing by admeasurement 945 acres, more or less, being Sections 44, 45, 46, 47, and 49, and Crown land, Block VI, Rankleburn Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Provisional State Forest (Gazette, 1919, page 1291), Block VIII, Rankleburn Survey District, 8000 links; towards the north-east by the Blackcleugh Burn, 9000 links; towards the south-east by a public road and Section 59, Block VI aforesaid, 2780 links; towards the east by said Section 59, a public road, Section 43, Block VI aforesaid, and a public road, 5523·7 links; towards the south by a public road and Section 25, Block VI aforesaid, 6352·6 links; towards the west by a public road, 12000 links. Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, and excepting therefrom four intersecting public roads each 100 links wide and a creek reserve 100 links wide, a deduction for all of which has been made from the area.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 61 acres and 22 poles, more or less, being Section 2, Block V, Rankleburn Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Run 503, 425 links; towards the east by Section 1, Block V aforesaid, a public road and again by Section 1 aforesaid and a public road, 4101·5 links; towards the south by Lot 11, Land Transfer Plan 1958, 2614·5 links, and towards the west by a public road, 5940 links. Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, and excepting therefrom an intersecting public road 100 links wide, a deduction for which has been made from the area.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 204/37 deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of October, 1932.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
Sub. 2 of Section 1, Block VIII, Pouatu Survey District: Area, 582 acres, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of October, 1932.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1931, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land :
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
HAUTU 2b 1b 2E Block, Omoho, Puketi, and Waiotaka Survey Districts: Area, 762 acres 3 roods 24 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of October, 1932.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the Borough of New Plymouth of a Width of less than 66 ft., but not less than 59 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of October, 1932.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the New Plymouth Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width of less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty-nine feet.
SCHEDULE.
THAT proposed street off David Street in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 5·9 perches, more or less, and being part Section 19, Fitzroy District, Block V, Paritutu Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84394 deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Parish of Pepehe, Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of October, 1932.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a public pound site over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
