SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 33 acres 2 roods 14 perches, more or less, being Sections 49 and 50, Town of Brighton View Extension No. 2, and Section 82, Block VIII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 58, Town of Brighton View Extension No. 2, and bounded towards the north-east by Crown land, 200 links; towards the south-east by the Pacific Ocean, 10260 links; towards the north-west by the Brighton—Green Island Road, 190 links; towards the north-east by Allotment 1A, Land Transfer plan 2228, being a subdivision of Section 59, Block I, Otokia Survey District, 99 links; towards the north-west by Allotments 1A, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of said Land Transfer plan 2228, 700-2 links; towards the south-west by aforesaid Allotment 6, 72-42 links; towards the north-west by the Brighton—Green Island Road, 330-91 links; towards the north-east by Section 1, Town of Brighton View Extension No. 2, 150 links; towards the north-west by Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 of the aforesaid town, and Section 3, Block XVI, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, 1117-1 links; towards the south-west by Section 6 of the aforesaid town, 150-5 links; towards the north-west by the Brighton—Green Island Road, 350-3 links; towards the north-east by Section 7 of the aforesaid town, 107-6 links; towards the north-west by Sections 7 to 48 of the aforesaid town, and the abuttals of two public roads, 4820-25 links; towards the south-west by said Section 48, 3219 links; towards the north-west by the Brighton—Green Island Road, 1216-1 links; towards the north-east by Section 51 of the aforesaid town, 200 links; and towards the north-west by Sections 51 to 60 of the aforesaid town, 960 links, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked L. and S. 1/146D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Notice of Intention to issue an Order in Council revoking the Reservation over the Buffalo Domain, Auckland Land District.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by section forty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to time by Order in Council, but subject to compliance with the requirements of subsection two of section seven of the said Act, declare that the land comprised in a public domain or part thereof shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, may declare either that such land shall be a public reserve for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, or Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is known as the Buffalo Domain, but is not required for domain purposes, and it is expedient to revoke the reservation over the said land:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give notice, pursuant to subsection two of section seven of the said Act, that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of section forty-one of the said Act declaring that the Buffalo Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be deemed to be Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924.

BUFFALO DOMAIN.—AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Allotments 31 and 32, Town of Buffalo, Block VI, Coromandel Survey District: Area, 21 acres 3 roods 3 perches, more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 22nd day of October, 1932.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section three hundred and fifty-nine of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby temporarily reserve the lands in the North Auckland, Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Wellington, Marlborough, and Otago Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written for the purposes specified in the said Schedule.
