Order in Council varying the Term and Rate of Interest in respect of the Lyttelton Harbour Board's Loan of £136,000.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of October, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the Gazette on the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at page 1593, consent was given to the raising by the Lyttelton Harbour Board of the Redemption Loan, 1932, up to an amount of one hundred and thirty-six thousand pounds for a term of twenty-five years, at a rate of interest not exceeding the rate therein specified, and subject to the condition relating to the establishment of a sinking fund therein set out:
And whereas the said loan of one hundred and thirty-six thousand pounds has not yet been borrowed, and it is expedient to vary, as regards the borrowing of the said loan, the conditions of the said Order in Council relating to the rate of interest and the term for which the said loan may be borrowed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section sixty-three of the Finance Act, 1932, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary the conditions contained in the said Order in Council of the twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, relating to the rate of interest and the term for which the said loan may be borrowed, by imposing, in lieu of references to a rate of interest not exceeding five pounds per centum and to a term of twenty-five years, conditions that the said loan of one hundred and thirty-six thousand pounds, or any part thereof, may be raised for a term of ten years, at a rate of interest being such as shall not produce to the lender a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds five shillings per centum.

Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Lands other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of October, 1932.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section four hundred and forty-two of the Native Land Act, 1931, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, it is provided that, for the purpose of enabling any scheme of consolidation of the interests of owners of Native land into suitable areas to be prepared and carried into effect, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, prohibit any alienation of Native land or of land owned by Natives in respect of which notification has been made by the Native Minister to the Court of the preparation of such a scheme:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit all alienation of the land specified in the Schedule hereto, except as in the said section provided or in favour of the Crown.
