or any regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof
or in substitution therefor, as may from time to time law-
fully be imposed by the Waiapu County Council.

  1. ROUTES RESERVED FOR GOVERNMENT LINES.

Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained the
licensee shall not, without the consent in writing of the Minis-
ter of Public Works, erect any electric lines along the routes
of the Government main trunk transmission-lines.

SCHEDULE.

LINES adapted for supply as above prescribed for the trans-
mission of electricity, from point to point along the routes
indicated by full red lines on the plan marked P.W.D. 34915,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington.

Order in Council authorizing the borrowing by the Banks
Peninsula Electric-power Board by way of Hypothecation
of Debentures issued in respect of the No. 3 Loan Renewal
Loan, 1932 (£18,000).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of
October, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board
(hereinafter called “the said local authority”) has
been authorized to borrow in respect of a loan to be known as
No. 3 Loan Renewal Loan, 1932, the sum of eighteen thousand
pounds (£18,000), and the said sum has not yet been borrowed ;

And whereas the said local authority is desirous of borrowing
the said sum of eighteen thousand pounds (£18,000) pursuant
to section thirty-four of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,
by the hypothecation or mortgage of the debentures autho-
rized to be issued in respect of the said loan :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and
the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all
other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth
hereby consent to the borrowing of the said sum of
eighteen thousand pounds (£18,000) by the hypothecation or
mortgage of the said debentures, and the said local authority
is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum accordingly.

Order in Council changing the Name of the Whakatane
Agricultural and Pastoral Association.—(Notice No. Ag. 3074.)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by section four of the Agricultural
and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act, 1912, and of all other
powers and authorities in that behalf enabling him, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby change
the name of the society incorporated under the Agricultural
and Pastoral Societies Act, 1908, under the style and title of
“The Whakatane Agricultural and Pastoral Association” to
“The Whakatane and Rangitaiki Agricultural and Pastoral
Society.”

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £250 by
the Inglewood County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of
October, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Inglewood County Council (hereinafter
called “the said local authority”) is desirous of
raising the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds by a loan to
be known as “Wortley Road (Central Metalling Loan, 1932,”
for the purpose of metalling eighty-two chains of Wortley
Road Central to join up existing metalled portions ;

And whereas the said local authority has complied with the
provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926
(hereinafter called “the said Act”), and it is expedient that
the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
under the said Act should be given to the raising of the said
loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by the said Act and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent
to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan up
to the amount of two hundred and fifty pounds, for a term
of twenty years, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not
produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds
per centum per annum, subject to the condition that the said
local authority shall, before borrowing the said loan or any
part thereof, make provision for the repayment thereof by
establishing a sinking fund under the Local Bodies’ Loans
Act, 1926, and shall thereafter make to such sinking fund
payments at intervals of not more than one year, at a rate
or rates which shall not be less than the rate of three pounds
per centum, such payments to be made in respect of every
part of the said sum for the time being so borrowed and not
repaid, and the first payment to be made not later than one
year after the first day from which interest to the lender is
computed on any moneys so borrowed, subject to the further
conditions that no portion of interest or sinking fund shall be
paid out of loan-moneys and that unemployment-relief labour
is obtainable to such extent as will be sufficient, together with
loan-money and contributions from County funds, to complete
the proposed work.

Transport Board on the Instalment-repayment System of
£50,000, being portion of the Avondale Tramway Extension
Loan, 1930, of £58,400.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of
October, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Auckland Transport Board (hereinafter
called “the said local authority”) has been autho-
rized to borrow, in respect of a loan to be known as “Avondale
Tramway Extension Loan, 1930,” the sum of fifty-eight
thousand four hundred pounds and the sum of fifty thousand
pounds has not yet been borrowed :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
on him by section 11 of the Local Government Loans Board
Act, 1926, and by section 32 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act,
1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in
this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local
authority of the said loan up to the amount of fifty thousand
pounds, for a period not exceeding twenty years, upon terms
of making the said sum, together with interest thereon, repay-
able by aggregate half-yearly instalments of principal and
interest of one thousand six hundred and twenty-five pounds
during the first ten years of the said period, and thereafter
by aggregate half yearly instalments of principal and interest
of two thousand eight hundred and fifty-three pounds nine
shillings and eighteenpence.
