Revolving the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged
Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land
District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Pro-
clamation made on the eighteenth day of September, one
thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the
Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of September, one thousand
nine hundred and nineteen, setting apart lands for selection by
discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule
hereto.

Ohinemuri County.—Hapuakohe Survey District.
PART Section 2s, Tainui Settlement: Area, 20 acres 1 rood
20 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of
October, 1932.

Amended Regulations as to Infectious and Notifiable Diseases.—

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of
October, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him
by the Health Act, 1920, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby amend the Regulations as to Infectious
and Notifiable Diseases made under the Health Act, 1920, and
gazetted on the third day of March, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-one, by deleting the expression “ a fee
of 3s. 6d.” in Regulation 7, of Part II, relating to Notification
of Disease by Medical Practitioners, and substituting therefor
the expression “ a fee of 2s. 6d.”; and do hereby declare that
this amendment shall come into force as from the date of
gazetting.

Amending Regulations under Part I of the Fisheries Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of
October, 1932.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-ninth
day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-
two, and published in the Gazette of the seventh day of
the following month at page 1598, regulations were made under
the Fisheries Act, 1908:
And whereas it is expedient to amend the said regulations
in the manner hereinafter prescribed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fifth
section of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby amend regulation sixty-one in
the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby
prescribe that the regulation in the said Schedule shall be
deemed to be incorporated in and form part of the herein-
before-recited regulations of the twenty-ninth day of June,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.
SCHEDULE.
REGULATION 61 is hereby amended by adding after the words
“species of fish” the following proviso thereto:—
“Provided that on and after the first day of October, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, no person shall use
any seine or drag net for the purpose of taking flounders in
the Provincial District of Southland, unless the mesh of
such net measure when prepared for use not less than
four inches.”

Amending the Regulations for Payment of Witnesses, 1931.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of
October, 1932.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority con-
ferred on him by the Public Revenues Act, 1926, and the
Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, and of all other powers and
authorities in this behalf in anywise enabling, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend
the Regulations for Payment of Witnesses, 1931, made on the
nineteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-one, and published in the Gazette of the same date, by
repealing paragraph (1) of Regulation 2 of the said regula-
tions, and substituting in lieu thereof the following paragraph ;
and doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall come
into force on the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-two:—
(1) To persons giving evidence, strictly as experts, £ s. d.
for every day’s attendance at Court or neces-
sary absence from usual place of abode . . 1 0 0
Except as above, to every prosecutor and
witness for every day’s attendance at Court
or necessary absence from usual place of
abode :—
Where the period of such attendance or
absence exceeds three hours . . . . 0 8 0
Where such period does not exceed three

necessary absence from such place of

Regulation under Section 8 of the Coroners Amendment Act,
1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of
October, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
section two of the Payment of Jurors Act, 1919, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council
dated the nineteenth day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty-one, and published in the Gazette of the
same date, prescribing the rates of fees and allowances to be
payable to jurors in accordance with the provisions of the
said Act; and in lieu thereof doth hereby prescribe, as set
forth in the Schedule hereto, the rates of fees and allowances
to be payable to jurors for their attendance at any sittings
of the Supreme Court, and to every person who attends as
a juror at any inquest held before a Coroner; and doth hereby
declare that this Order in Council shall come into force on the
twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-two.
