The said Liquidator will hear and adjudicate upon the said debts or claims at his said office at 11 o’clock in the forenoon on the 17th day of October, 1932.

NOTICE is hereby given that—

  1. The following resolution to wind up voluntarily has been passed by entry in the minute-book of the company the 1st day of September, 1932:—

“That it is advisable to wind up the company, and we resolve as a special resolution that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that ARTHUR JAMES PETHERICK, Public Accountant, of Wellington, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

ONEHUNGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of four thousand five hundred pounds (£4,500) authorized to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for relief of unemployment, the said Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three thirty-seconds of one penny (3/32d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property (on the basis of the unimproved value) in the Borough of Onehunga, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years (36½), or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NOTICE is hereby given that a Petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 27th day of August, 1932, presented to the Honourable Sir Alexander Lawrence Herdman, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by ERNEST GEORGE DOVER, of Auckland, Clerk, a creditor of the said company. And the said Petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the 3rd day of October, 1932, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desiring to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing by himself or his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the Petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that an Order of the Supreme Court dated the 20th day of April, 1932, confirming the reduction of the capital of Bond’s Hosiery Mill, Limited, from £100,000 to £50,000, together with a minute (approved by the Court) showing the amount of the capital of the company as altered by the Order, the number of shares into which it is divided, and the amount of each share was duly registered under section 47 of the Companies Act, 1908, on the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.
