WAIMANGU ROAD: All that road or portion of road in the Rotorua County, commencing at its junction with the Rotorua-Napier Main Highway in Block XIV, Tarawera Survey District, and proceeding generally in an easterly direction, and terminating at a point near Echo Creek in Block XV, Tarawera Survey District, being a distance of 4 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83134, and thereon coloured red and marked “C-D.”

ROTORUA-NAPIER: All that road or portion of road in the Rotorua and Taupo Counties commencing at the southern boundary of the Borough of Rotorua, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly and southerly direction via Waiotapu, and terminating at the western boundary of Block XIV, Paeroa Survey District, near the Mihi Village, being a distance of 27 miles 40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83175, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 4.

KANAKANAIA ROAD: All that road or portion of road in the Waikohu County, commencing at its junction with the Gisborne-Opotiki via Motu Main Highway at Te Karaka, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction following generally the course of the Waihora River to the Kanakanaia School, and thence through the Kanakanaia Settlement, and terminating at the south-western corner of Section 2, Block X, Waingaromia Survey District, being a distance of 10 miles 48 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83135, and thereon coloured burnt sienna.

GISBORNE-OPOTIKI VIA WAIOEKA; All that road or portion of road in the Waikohu County, commencing at its junction with the Matawai-Koranga Main Highway at the northern boundary of Section 3, Block IX, Motu Survey District, and proceeding generally in a northerly direction, and terminating at the northern boundary of Section 2, Block IX, Motu Survey District, being a distance of 5 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83136, and thereon coloured burnt sienna.

GISBORNE-OPOTIKI VIA COAST: All that road or portion of road in the Matakaoa County, commencing at its junction with the Hick’s Bay Wharf Road in Section 6c, Block VIII, Matakaoa Survey District, and proceeding generally in a westerly direction, and terminating at the north-western corner of Section 18A, Block VI, Matakaoa Survey District, being a distance of 7 miles 40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83137, and thereon coloured burnt sienna.

MANGAOTUKU ROAD: All that road or portion of road in the Stratford County, commencing at its junction with the Stratford-Taumarunui Main Highway in Block 13, Ngatimaru Survey District, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly direction via Mangaotuku Road, and terminating at its junction with Mangaehu Road at the western boundary of Section 36, Block 2, Omona Survey District, being a distance of 4 miles 36 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83138, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 8.

WANGANUI AIRPORT ROAD: All that road or portion of road in the Wanganui County, commencing at its junction with the Auckland-Wellington via Taranaki Main Highway in Block V, Ikitara Survey District, and proceeding generally in a south-westerly direction, and terminating at the Airport site, being a distance of 2 miles 20 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83139, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 9.

LOWER HUTT-EASTBOURNE: All that road or portion of road in the Hutt County, commencing at the southern boundary of the Borough of Lower Hutt, and proceeding generally in a southerly direction via Seaview Road, and terminating at its junction with the Lower Hutt-Eastbourne Main Highway, in Section 20, Block XVI, Belmont Survey District, being a distance of 19 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83150, and thereon coloured red.

POHANGINA VALLEY ROAD: All that road or portion of road in the Pohangina County, commencing at Dundas Creek, in Section 47, Block 10, Pohangina Survey District, and proceeding generally in a northerly direction via the Pohangina Valley Road, and terminating at the southern end of the Piri Piri Bridge over the Pohangina River at the north-western corner of Section 24, Block 16, Apiti Survey District, being a distance of 11 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83151, and thereon coloured red.

HEATHERLEA-FOXTON VIA KOPUTAROA: All that road or portion of road in the Horowhenua County, commencing at its junction with the Wellington-Auckland via Taranaki Main Highway, at the south-western corner of Lot 4, D.P. 872, Block XIII, Mt. Robinson Survey District, and proceeding generally in a northerly and westerly direction via Koputaroa, and terminating at its junction with the said Wellington-Auckland via Taranaki Main Highway, at the north-western corner of Subdivision 1A, Waimakaira Block, Block IX, Mt. Robinson Survey District, being a distance of 7 miles 16 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83152, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 10.

MANGAONE VALLEY-PAHIATUA: All that road or portion of road in the Pahiatua County, commencing at its junction with the Mangaone Valley Main Highway, at the southern boundary of the Pahiatua County, in Section 16, Block 4, Mangaone Survey District, and proceeding generally in a northerly direction via the Mangaone Valley and Tiraumea Roads, and terminating at its junction with the Wellington-Napier via Wairarapa Main Highway at the southern boundary of the Borough of Pahiatua, at the north-western corner of Section 28, Block VIII, Mangahao Survey District, being a distance of 12 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83156, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 12.

BLACKWATER-WAITUTA: All that road or portion of road in the Inangahua County, commencing at its junction with the Inangahua Junction-Waiho Main Highway, at the south-eastern corner of Section 5, Block XI, Mawheraiti Survey District, and proceeding generally in an easterly and south-easterly direction via the Blackwater-Waituta Road, and terminating at the Post-office, Waituta, being a distance of 8 miles 46 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83149, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 13.

MENDIP-WAIAU: All that road or portion of road in the Cheviot and Amuri Counties, commencing at its junction with the Leader-Mendip Main Highway at Mendip, and proceeding generally in a westerly direction via Long Valley Road, and terminating at its junction with the Waipara-Kaikoura via Culverden Main Highway at Waiau, being a distance of 14 miles 65 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83237, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 14.

CHRISTCHURCH-BLENHEIM VIA PARNASSUS: All that road or portion of road in the Waimairi and Eyre Counties, commencing at its junction with the Christchurch-Blenheim via Parnassus Main Highway near the south-western corner of Rural Section 539, Block 3, Christchurch Survey District, and proceeding generally in a northerly direction via the Waimakariri River bridge, and terminating at the eastern corner of Rural Section Part 801, Block 3, Christchurch Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile 5 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83238, and thereon coloured red and marked “D-E.”

CHRISTCHURCH-BLENHEIM TO BENNETTS, VIA SWANNANOA: All that road or portion of road in the Eyre County, commencing at its junction with the Christchurch-Blenheim via Parnassus Main Highway at the eastern corner of Rural Section Part 801, Block 3, Christchurch Survey District, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction, and terminating at its junction with the Christchurch-Blenheim to Bennetts, via Swannanoa Main Highway at the south-eastern corner of Section 733, Block 15, Rangiora Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile 13 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83238, and thereon coloured red and marked “E-F.”

KAIAPOI-WADDINGTON, VIA RANGIORA AND BENNETTS: All that road or portion of road in the Eyre County, commencing at its junction with Coupe’s Road at the boundary of the Borough of Kaipoi, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction via Ohoka and Kaipoi Road, and terminating at the road junction at the south-western corner of Section 366, Block 15, Rangiora Survey District, being a distance of 28 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 83238, and thereon coloured red and marked “H-B.”

Also all that road or portion of road in the Borough of Kaipoi, commencing at its junction with the Christchurch-Blenheim via Parnassus Main Highway, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction via Ohoka and Kaipoi Road, and terminating at the boundary of the Borough of Kaipoi at its junction with Coupe’s Road, being a distance of 40 chains, more or less.
