Education Reserve in Canterbury Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned Education Reserve will be offered for lease by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, at 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 11th October, 1932, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE.

Oxford County.—Mairaki Survey District.

RESERVE 1186, Block V, 75 acres 1 rood 5 perches. Upset annual rental, £57 15s.

Loaded with the sum of £120, comprising £45 for improvements consisting of approximately 120 chains of boundary and subdivisional fencing, and £75 for the crops. This sum is payable in cash.

Situated on unformed branch road half a mile off the Carlton-Ashley Road and distant about six miles and a half from Oxford Railway-station and about three miles and a half from Carlton Railway-station. Comprises flat land, part stony, soil being light to medium resting on clay and shingle formation. Land is low-lying and subject to flooding from under-current. Watered by County Race, and subdivided into four paddocks. Present condition: 35 acres old pasture, 20 acres sown in dun oats, and 20 acres sown in oats and grass-seed.
