Additional Land near Normanby taken for the Purposes of the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway, and for Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway to take further land near Normanby, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-diversion in connection therewith :

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in any-wise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

FOR RAILWAY.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 2 roods 35·9 perches and 19·6 perches.
Portions of road.

FOR ROAD-DIVERSION.

Approximate area of the piece of land: 1 acre 2 roods 3·1 perches.
Portion of Railway Reserve (Section 324, Patea).

Situated in Block I, Hawera Survey District, Hawera County. (S.O. 7123.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 1963, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green and sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of August, 1932.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road in the County of Whangarei, at Waiotu.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Whangarei–Kamo Extension Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road :

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Whangarei County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 acre 3 roods 3 perches.

Portion of Railway Reserve, Proclamation 1667, Block XI, Hukerenui Survey District, Whangarei County. (S.O. 26945, blue.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 2090, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of August, 1932.
