At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of August, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waikato County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road permitted to be stopped :—
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
2 3 5·0 Allotments 34 and 35, and Lot 4, D.P. 16714, being Allotment 32, Block VI.

Directing the Sale of Land under the Public Works Act, 1928,
in Block II, Heao Survey District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of August, 1932.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold : 1 rood 0·5 perches.
Being Railway land (part Section 8).
Situated in Block II, Heao Survey District (Taranaki R.D.).
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84395, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Directing Sale of Railway Land at Blenheim under the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work is not required for such public work the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the said land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 27·2 perches.
Portion of Railway Reserve (part Section 1, Omaka), Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Borough of Blenheim.
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 2078, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Licensing Alan Menzies, Ian Menzies, and Clement Harold Sykes (as Trustees) to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Menzies Bay, Banks Peninsula, as a Site for a Wharf.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 8th day of August, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, there being no Harbour Board empowered to grant the license hereinafter mentioned under the Harbours Act, 1923 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), Alan Menzies, Ian Menzies, and Clement Harold Sykes, all of Menzies Bay, Banks Peninsula, as trustees for the inhabitants of the district (hereinafter called “the trustees”), have applied to the Governor-General in Council for a license under the said Act to occupy a part of the foreshore at Menzies Bay, Banks Peninsula, in order to maintain a wharf thereon; and, in accordance with the one-hundred-and-seventy-first section of the said Act, have deposited a plan in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington (marked M.D. 7076) showing the area of foreshore and land below low-water mark intended to be occupied, and the manner in which it is proposed to maintain the said wharf :
And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor-General in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend to the injury of navigation, and the said plan has, prior to the making of this Order in Council, been approved by the Governor-General in Council :
And whereas it is expedient that a license should be granted and issued to the trustees under the said Act for the purpose last aforesaid on the terms and conditions hereinafter expressed :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the object for which the said license is required by the trustees as aforesaid; and, in further pursuance and exercise of the said power and authority, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, doth hereby license and permit the trustees to use and occupy that part of the foreshore on which the said wharf is erected, as shown on plan M.D. 7076 so deposited as aforesaid, for the purpose of maintaining the said wharf in accordance with the said plan; such license to be held and enjoyed by the trustees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
CONDITIONS OF MANAGEMENT.
- IN these conditions the terms—
“Foreshore” means such parts of the bed, shore, or banks of a tidal water as are covered and uncovered by the flow and ebb of the tide at ordinary spring tides :
“Low-water mark” means low-water mark at ordinary spring tides :
