Declaring Road-line adjoining Land in Starborough and Flaxbourne Settlements, Marlborough Land District, to be closed, and the Land comprised therein to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS a report has been received from the Surveyor-General, from which it appears that the road described in the Schedule hereto is unformed and unused, and that the said road adjoins lands acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1894, and the Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1900, and is not suitable to the subdivision of such lands;

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and six of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby close the road hereinafter described; and I do hereby declare that the land comprised in the said road shall thereupon become subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and shall form part of the Starborough Settlement.

SCHEDULE.

Approximate area of the piece of road to be closed: 1 rood.
Adjoining Section 108, Stephens Run, Awatere Registration District.

Situated in Block I, Cape Campbell Survey District, Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 18824, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2564, and thereon coloured green.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 25th day of July, 1932.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons set out in the Schedule hereto, being persons holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, at the places set opposite their names in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
