Meeting of the General Assembly for the Despatch of Business.

A PROCLAMATION.

To the LEGISLATIVE COUNCILLORS of the Dominion of New Zealand, and the Members elected to serve in the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES of the said Dominion, summoned and called to a Meeting of the General Assembly of the said Dominion, at the City of Wellington, on the fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, to have been commenced and held, and to every of you. GREETING :

WHEREAS the General Assembly has been summoned to meet on the fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two: And whereas for certain causes and considerations I have thought fit to convene such meeting for a date later than the said date, so that neither you nor any of you, on the said fourth day of February, at the City of Wellington, are to be held constrained to appear:

Now, therefore, know ye that you and each of you, and all others in this behalf interested, are hereby commanded and by the tenor of these presents enjoined to be and appear personally for the DESPATCH OF BUSINESS on Tuesday, the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at half past two o’clock in the afternoon, in the Parliament Houses, situate in Bowen Street, in the City of Wellington, there to take into consideration the state and welfare of the said Dominion of New Zealand and therein to do as may seem necessary.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of January, 1932.
