Notice to Mariners No. 35 of 1932.

NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—EAST COAST.
Tolaga Bay : Leading Light to be established.
Position: Lat. 38° 23' S., long. 178° 19' E. (approx.),
Chart 3500.
Details : On 1st August leading lights will be established
as follows:—
(a) A fixed red light, visible two miles, will be exhibited at
an elevation of 23 ft. from the flag-pole at the seaward
end of the jetty.
(b) A fixed white light, visible five miles, will be exhibited
at an elevation of 40 ft. from a flag-staff which has
been erected in a position 233° 833 yards from (a).
Remarks : The lights will be electric, and when in line
bearing 233° will provide a clear lead to the jetty.

The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act,
1932.—Notice of Cancellation of Award.
In the matter of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration
Act, 1925, and its amendments, and in the matter of an
industrial dispute between the New Zealand Waterside
Employers' Association Industrial Association of Em-
ployers of the one part and the New Zealand Waterside
Workers' Federation Industrial Association of Workers
and others of the other part.
WHEREAS the Conciliation Commissioner, by notice
under his hand dated the 18th day of July, 1932,
has notified the Clerk of Awards that a settlement of the
above-mentioned dispute has not been arrived at by the
Council of Conciliation appointed for the hearing thereof:
Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with section
7 (4) of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amend-
ment Act, 1932, the New Zealand Waterside Workers' award,
dated the 1st October, 1929, and published in Book of Awards,
Volume XXIX, page 646, is deemed to be cancelled and ceases
to be in force on the expiration of one month from the date
of the Commissioner’s notification to the Clerk of Awards
as aforesaid.
