Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the residue of the Molesworth No. 1 Kauri-gum Reserve, as described in the Schedule hereto, be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the residue of the Molesworth No. 1 Kauri-gum Reserve, as described in the Schedule hereto, shall, from the twenty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 211 acres 3 roods, more or less, being the residue of the Molesworth No. 1 Kauri-gum Reserve, situate in Block II, Mangawai Survey District: Bounded towards the north-west by Allotment 256, Mangawai Parish; towards the east generally by a public road; towards the south generally by Section 86 (E.R.), Suburbs of Molesworth, a public road, and Section 87 (E.R.), Suburbs of Molesworth; and towards the west generally by the Mangawai River, Section 1, Block II, Mangawai Survey District, and a public road, to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/4/164, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Declaring Road-line adjoining Land in Opouriao Settlement, Auckland Land District, to be closed, and the Land comprised therein to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS a report has been received from the Surveyor-General from which it appears that the road described in the Schedule hereto is unfarmed and unused, and that the said road is adjacent to land acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1894, and is not suitable to the subdivision of such land:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and six of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby close the road hereinafter described; and I do hereby declare that the land comprised in the said road shall thereupon become subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road to be closed: 3 roods 10-9 perches.
Adjoining Allotment 70, Waimana Parish.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 18937, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2576, and thereon coloured green.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 13th day of July, 1932.

Declaring Road-lines adjoining and intersecting Land in Downs Settlement, Otago Land District, to be closed, and the Land comprised therein to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

WHEREAS a report has been received from the Surveyor-General from which it appears that the roads described in the Schedule hereto are unfarmed and unused, and that the said roads are adjacent to or intersect land acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and are not suitable to the subdivision of such land:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and six of the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby close the roads hereinafter described; and I do hereby declare that the land comprised in the said roads shall thereupon become subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

Opening Land in Hawke’s Bay Land District for Sale or Selection.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1924, and the amendments thereof, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare and provide as follows, that is to say:—

The rural land enumerated in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for disposal by way of sale or selection on Tuesday, the sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at the price specified in the said Schedule, and for the purposes of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Land Act, 1924, the said land shall be deemed to be “light bush” land.

The said land may be purchased for cash, or on deferred payments, or be selected on renewable lease.
