Member appointed to the Owhango Public Hall and Library Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1932.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in the Gazette of the thirtieth day of that month, the control of Section 17, Block I, Town of Owhango, Wellington Land District, a reserve for a site for a public hall and library was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Order in Council constituted a special Board, by the name of the “Owhango Public Hall and Library Board,” in pursuance of section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 :
And whereas it is desirable that Thomas James McKee, of Owhango, should be appointed a member of the said Board, in place of John Excell, who has resigned :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby appoint the said
Thomas James McKee
to be a member of the Owhango Public Hall and Library Board constituted by the Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, hereinbefore referred to, in place of the said John Excell who has resigned.

Order in Council varying the Term and Rate of Interest in respect of Portion—viz., £20,000—of the Napier Borough Council’s Loan of £59,400.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1932.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the Gazette on the twenty-eighth day of the same month, at page 1142, consent was given to the raising by the Napier Borough Council of the Earthquake Damage Repair Loan (No. 3), 1932, up to an amount of fifty-nine thousand four hundred pounds, for a term of thirty years, at a rate of interest not exceeding the rate therein specified, and subject to the condition relating to the establishment of a sinking fund therein set out :
And whereas the said loan of fifty-nine thousand four hundred pounds has not yet been borrowed, and it is expedient to vary, as regards the borrowing of the sum of twenty thousand pounds, being portion of the said loan, the conditions of the said Order in Council relating to the rate of interest and the term for which the said loan may be borrowed :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section sixty-three of the Finance Act, 1932, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary the conditions contained in the said Order in Council of the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, relating to the rate of interest and the term for which the said sum of twenty thousand pounds, being portion of the said loan of fifty-nine thousand four hundred pounds, may be borrowed, by imposing, in lieu of references to a rate of interest not exceeding five pounds five shillings per centum and to a term of thirty years, conditions that the said sum of twenty thousand pounds, or any part thereof, may be raised for a term of twenty years at a rate of interest being such as shall not produce to the lender a rate exceeding five pounds fifteen shillings per centum.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising by the Petone Borough Council of a Loan of £13,500 on the Instalment-repayment System, and prescribing the Term and Rate of Interest in respect thereof.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1932.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Petone Borough Council (hereinafter called the “said local authority”) has been authorized to borrow, in respect of a loan to be known as “Antecedent Liability (1922) Renewal Loan, 1932,” the sum of thirteen thousand five hundred pounds, and the said sum has not yet been borrowed :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and by section thirty-two of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan up to the amount of thirteen thousand five hundred pounds, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds ten shillings per centum per annum, upon terms of making the said loan, together with interest thereon, repayable by instalments extending over a period not exceeding twenty years.

Order in Council prescribing the Term in respect of £500 of the Lower Hutt Borough Council’s Loan of £31,620.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1932.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Lower Hutt Borough Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) has been authorized to borrow in respect of a loan to be known as “Fire Prevention Loan, 1923,” the sum of thirty-one thousand six hundred and twenty pounds, and the sum of five hundred pounds has not yet been borrowed :
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent consent as required by section one hundred and fourteen of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said section”), to the borrowing by the said local authority of the said sum of five hundred pounds for the term hereinafter mentioned :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said section, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby prescribe that the said sum of five hundred pounds, or any part thereof, may be raised in respect of the said loan by the said local authority, for a term of ten years, and the said local authority is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum accordingly.
