IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Transport, do hereby declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Ohura County shall belong to the respective class of roads shown in the said Schedule.

Notifying Land in the Auckland Land District subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I hereby notify that the undermentioned land, being the land known as Norwegians Settlement, which has been acquired under the said Act, is subject to the said Act as from the 17th December, 1931.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.--NORWEGIANS SETTLEMENT.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement a total of 307 acres 2 roods 25 perches, more or less, being Lots 1, 2, and 3 on plan No. 24014, and part Lot E1 on plan No. 3323 (both plans being deposited in the Office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland), being parts of Allotment 225, Pukekura Parish, situated in Block XIII, Cambridge Survey District, and Block I, Maungatautari Survey District, and being more particularly described as follows:

Tinwald Town Board.--Cancellation of Unexercised Loan Authority.

In the matter of Section 118 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926.

WHEREAS the Tinwald Town Board has been duly authorized to borrow by way of special loan the sum of three hundred and sixty pounds (£360) for providing its proportion of the cost of constructing the Ashburton Traffic-bridge, and the consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loan was given by Order in Council made on the 14th day of April, 1930, and published in the Gazette on the 17th day of April, 1930, at page 1429:

And whereas in respect of the said sum of three hundred and sixty pounds (£360), there has been raised and borrowed for the purposes aforesaid the sum of one hundred and eleven pounds two shillings (£111 2s.), and it has not been found necessary to borrow the whole of the amount so authorized:

And whereas the Minister of Finance has duly notified the Tinwald Town Board in writing of his intention to cancel the loan authority in so far as it has not been exercised:

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers in that behalf conferred upon me by section 118 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers me in this behalf enabling, I, William Downie Stewart, Minister of Finance, do hereby cancel the authority of the Tinwald Town Board to borrow, under the loan authority hereinbefore referred to, the sum of two hundred and forty-eight pounds eighteen shillings (£248 18s.), being the amount in respect of which the said loan authority has not been exercised: Provided always that this cancellation is without prejudice to the validity in all respects of the loan of one hundred and eleven pounds two shillings (£111 2s.) already borrowed pursuant to the said loan authority.
