The limits of weight and size for each Government package shall be as follow :—
For places served by wheeled conveyance, rail, or steamer : Weight, 14 lb. ; length, 3 ft. 6 in. ; and length and girth combined, 6 ft.
For places not served by wheeled conveyance, rail, or steamer : Weight, 5 lb. ; length, 2 ft. ; and breadth or depth, 1 ft.
REGISTERED MAGAZINES.
Inland .. .. Each copy 1d. for each 8 oz. or fraction thereof.
REGISTRATION.
For any place .. .. 3d.
SPECIAL-REQUEST CORRESPONDENCE.
Undelivered printed matter prepaid ½d. that has been posted in New Zealand and bears a special request for its return to the sender, or is of intrinsic value, will be returned and charged additional postage of ½d.
Undelivered printed matter prepaid ½d. that has been posted outside New Zealand and, by request, sent to an address in New Zealand other than that to which it was originally addressed shall be charged additional postage of ½d.
PARCELS.
Inland .. .. Not exceeding 1 lb., 6d. ; for each additional pound or fraction thereof up to 10 lb., 2d. ; for each additional pound or fraction thereof up to 14 lb., 1d.
Inland : For parcels (except those containing fishing-rods, golf-clubs, and parcels not exceeding 1 in. in thickness, &c.) exceeding 4 ft. length and girth combined, but not exceeding 11 lb. in weight .. .. 2s. 1d.
Inland : For parcels containing fishing-rods and golf-clubs, exceeding 3 ft. 6 in. but not exceeding 4 ft. 6 in. in length Not exceeding 3 lb., 2s. ; for each additional pound or fraction thereof up to 11 lb., 3d.
LIMIT OF WEIGHT.
Parcels not exceeding 14 lb. in weight shall be accepted for transmission to all places in the Dominion served by wheeled conveyance, rail, or steamer.
CINEMATOGRAPH FILMS.
Cinematograph films may be posted only to or from offices at which the limit of weight for parcels is 14 lb. A single-film container shall be charged one 11 lb. parcel rate, plus one “Express Transit” fee, if the parcel is sent in that manner. The rate of postage for a five-film container shall be that charged for four single 14 lb. parcels, and if sent “Express Transit,” four “Express Transit” fees also shall be charged. In cases in which a five-film container enclosing only four films is posted, the postage charged shall be the same as for three single 14 lb. parcels and one 2 lb. parcel, plus four “Express Transit” fees if sent “Express Transit.”

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of May, 1932.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section four hundred and forty-two of the Native Land Act, 1931, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit all alienations of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

HOKIHANGA ISLAND or Te Motu Block, Whakatane Survey District : Approximate area, 13 acres 2 roods 12 perches.
