Amended Regulations under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of May, 1932.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, as amended by Orders in Council of the tenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, the twenty-fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, respectively, regulations were made under the authority of the Acts therein recited, inter alia prescribing the rates of interest payable on moneys in the Common Fund of the Public Trust Office:
And whereas it is desirable to amend such regulations in the manner hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, section thirty-two, and by the Finance Act, 1932, section forty-seven, and of all other powers and authorities in this behalf him enabling, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the regulations set out in the Schedule hereto, and doth order that the regulations hereby made shall come into force on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.
SCHEDULE.
PARAGRAPH 1 of the regulations made by Order in Council dated the 10th day of November, 1925, as amended by Orders in Council of the 1st day of August, 1927, the 24th day of March, 1928, and the 18th day of December, 1931, respectively, is hereby further amended by deleting the words “4¾ per cent.” and “3 per cent.” wherever they appear, and by inserting in lieu thereof the words “4 per cent.” and “2 per cent.” respectively.

Amending a License held by David Henderson Rutherford, of Makuri, Settler, authorizing the Use of Water from the Turakina Stream for the Purpose of generating Electricity, and the Erection of Electric Lines in Portion of the Pahiatua County.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the sixth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of the same month, Alexander John Cameron, of Makuri, Settler, was authorized to use water from the Turakina Stream for the purpose of generating electricity, and to erect electric lines within portion of the County of Pahiatua: And whereas the said license was assigned in accordance with clause twenty-seven of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1927, to David Henderson Rutherford, of Makuri, Settler (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”), with the consent of His Excellency the Governor-General in Council, dated the ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight: And whereas the licensee has agreed that the clause numbered ten in the Schedule to the said license be amended as hereinafter appears:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the said license by deleting the said clause numbered ten in the Schedule thereto, and substituting therefor the following clause:—
“10. RENTAL.
“The licensee shall in respect of this license pay to the Public Works Engineer for the district, or otherwise, as the Minister may from time to time require, a rental of one pound per annum, payment to be made during each and every year, commencing from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.”

Amending an Order in Council authorizing Garrett Fitzgerald, James Fitzgerald, and Michael Fitzgerald, of Wainihinihi, Storekeepers, to use Water for the Purpose of generating Electricity, and to erect and use Electric Lines within Block VI, Turiwhate Survey District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this 20th day of May, 1932.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council dated the eighteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of the same month, authorizing Garrett Fitzgerald, James Fitzgerald, and Michael Fitzgerald, of Wainihinihi, Storekeepers, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity, and to erect and use electric lines within Block VI, Turiwhate Survey District, by deleting the word “March” from clause 7 of the conditions to the said license, and substituting therefor the word “April.”

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waiapu County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section three of the Main Highways Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that on and after the date of this Order in Council the public highways mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be main highways within the meaning and for the purpose of the Main Highways Act, 1922.
