and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan up to the amount of forty-one thousand five hundred pounds, subject to the following conditions upon which the said loan may be so raised :

(1) The term of the loan shall not exceed thirty years.

(2) The loan shall be free of interest for a period of five years from the date of the advance of the loan-moneys.

(3) The rate of interest thereafter payable shall be at such rate or rates as shall not produce to the lender a rate exceeding the rate of four pounds per centum per annum.

(4) The loan shall not be borrowed otherwise than on terms that the loan and the interest thereon shall be repaid by half-yearly instalments over a term of years (not exceeding twenty-five years) calculated from the date on which interest first commences to accrue on any portion of the loan-moneys.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

I N pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby fix the charges set forth in the Schedule hereto for the despatch of parcels by post to the United States of America and its Possessions; and doth further order and declare that any charges of similar purport heretofore made are hereby revoked, and doth further order and declare that the charges hereby fixed shall take effect on and after the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.

Portions of Roads in the County of Waimoa exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of April, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waimoa County Council on the seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, viz. :

“ That the Waimoa County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads within the Waimoa County, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the following roads :—

“ (a) The east side of the road fronting the western boundary of Lot 1 of Section 245, Block 111, Motueka Survey District, as shown on plan prepared by C. M. Hoult, Surveyor, and coloured red thereon ;

“ (b) The east side of the road fronting the western boundary of Lots 1, 2, and 3, of part Section 24, Block X, Kaiteriteri Survey District, as shown on plan prepared by C. M. Hoult, Surveyor, and coloured red thereon ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portions of roads (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of roads.

SCHEDULE.

THE eastern side of all that portion of road in the Nelson Land District, County of Waimoa, fronting part Section 245, Motueka Original District, Block 111, Motueka Survey District.

The eastern side of all that portion of road, in the said land district and county, fronting part Section 24, Motueka Original District, Block X, Kaiteriteri Survey District.

As the said portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 83870 and P.W.D. 83869, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

O N the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section four hundred and forty-two of the Native Land Act, 1931, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit all alienations of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.
