Land taken for the Purposes of the Taieri Plain Flood-protection Works, in Block IV, Maungatua Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Taieri Plain Flood-protection Works; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :-

Situated in Block IV, Maungatua Survey District.

In the Otago Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 76513 (Sheet 1), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of April, 1932.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Mangahao Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 8 acres 0 roods 26 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Sections 27 and 39, and River Bank Reserve.

Situated in Block I, Mangahao Survey District (Plan 128/36.)

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/422A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2560, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1932.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest set apart by Proclamation dated the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty,

and gazetted on the eighth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes ; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 576 acres, more or less, being parts of Blocks VII and VIII, Wharekawa Survey District, and Blocks I and II, Piako Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of April, 1932.

Adding Lands to the Arthur Pass National Park.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of April, 1932.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section seventy-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby declare that the parcels of land in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Arthur Pass National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Arthur Pass National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 79 acres 1 rood 7 perches, more or less, being Reserve 4279 (formerly parts Reserves 386 and 3284), situated in Block VI, Bealey Survey District, and bounded as follows : Towards the north generally by parts Reserves 386 and 3535 ; towards the south-east by part Reserve 3535 ; again towards the south-east and south by part Reserve 386 ; and towards the westward generally by part Reserve 386 and the abutment of a road.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Reserve 4278 (formerly part Reserve 386) situated in Block VI, Bealey Survey District, and bounded as follows : Towards the north, east, and south generally by part Reserve 386 ; and towards the west generally by the Main West Coast Road.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/633, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-ninth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the Gazette of the third day of the following month, at page 419, by-laws were made relating to the Harbour of Little Wanganui :

And whereas it is desirable to amend the said by-laws in the manner hereinafter described :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by sections nine and two hundred and twenty-six of the Harbours Act,
