Notice to Mariners No. 9 of 1932.

NEW ZEALAND.—SOUTH ISLAND.—EAST COAST.—
OTAGO HARBOUR.
Harbour Entrance.—New Lighted Leading Beacons.
Position: Lat. 45° 47′ S., long. 170° 43′ E. (approx.).
Abridged description: Front beacon. Bn. Fl. ev. sec., 20 ft., 5 M. (U). Rear beacon. Bn. Occ., ev. 5 sec., 64 ft., 10 M. (U).
Details: Two new lighted leading beacons for the main entrance channel are being erected and will be brought into use on 30th March, after which date the present lighted leading beacons will be discontinued.
The front beacon, 14 ft. high, triangular in shape, and red, will stand on a four-pile structure situated 349°, 2,132 ft. from the rear beacon, and will exhibit the flashing white light at present shown from Harrington Point beacon.
The rear beacon, 25 ft. high, triangular in shape, and white with a vertical red stripe, is situated 051°, 968 ft. from Harrington Point beacon, and will exhibit the occulting white light at present shown from the rear beacon near the Maori Kaik.
The beacons in line, bearing 169°, will lead through the main channel.
Remarks: The present leading beacons will remain in position but will be painted a dark green to conform with the colour of the surrounding country.
The visibility of the lights will be 5 and 10 miles respectively.

I HEREBY give notice, pursuant to the power conferred upon me by the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908, that by an alteration of the rules of the Otahuhu Social Club (Incorporated), duly authorized by the members thereof, the name of the Otahuhu Social Club (Incorporated) has been altered to the Albert Club (Incorporated), as from the 8th day of March, 1932.
