Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of Β£275 by the Sumner Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of March, 1932.
Present:
His Excellency the GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Sumner Borough Council (hereinafter called "the said local authority") is desirous of raising by way of bank overdraft the sum of two hundred and seventy-five pounds for the purpose of completing the Redcliffs Protective Sea-wall, by a loan to be known as Redcliffs Sea-wall Overdraft Loan, 1931:
And whereas the said local authority has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called "the said Act"), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council under the said Act should be given to the raising of the said loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan by way of bank overdraft up to the amount of two hundred and seventy-five pounds, for a term not exceeding two years, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lender a rate exceeding current bank-overdraft rates, subject to the condition that the local authority shall repay the said sum out of revenue before or during the year ending the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising by the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board of a Loan of Β£14,450 on the Instalment-repayment System, and prescribing the Term and Rate of Interest in respect thereof.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of March, 1932.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board (hereinafter called "the said local authority") has been authorized to borrow in respect of a loan to be known as "Special Loan, 1931," the sum of fourteen thousand four hundred and fifty pounds, and the said sum has not yet been borrowed:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent consent as required by section one hundred and fourteen of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, to the borrowing by the said local authority of the said loan at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and by sections thirty-two and one hundred and fourteen of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan, up to the amount of fourteen thousand four hundred and fifty pounds, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds ten shillings per centum per annum, upon terms of making the said loan together with interest thereon repayable by instalments extending over a period not exceeding twenty-six years.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of March, 1932.

His Excellency the GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section four hundred and forty-two of the Native Land Act, 1931, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Revoking Order in Council of the 14th November, 1923, licensing Bernard Hingston Tosswill to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land below Low-water Mark at Little Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula, as a Site for a Wharf.

His Excellency the GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, by Order in Council dated the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the Gazette of the fifteenth day of the same month, at page 2803, Bernard Hingston Tosswill, of Little Pigeon Bay (hereinafter called "the licensee"), was licensed to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Little Pigeon Bay as a site for a wharf for a term of fourteen years:
And whereas the licensee has applied to have the hereinbefore-recited license revoked, and it is desirable to revoke the same:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, as from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.
