William Watson,
Thomas Llewellyn Jenkins,
Leicester Tiverton Wright,
Frederick Alexander Bull, and
Frank John Jenkins
to be the Sheffield Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s Room, Sheffield, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
SHEFFIELD DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 20 acres, more or less, being Reserve numbered 2377, situate in Block XIII, Oxford Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by the Main West Coast Road, 1255 links; towards the north-west and south-west by Reserve 1241, 1398·1 links and 1607 links respectively; and towards the south-east by a road-line, 1441·7 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/495, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Portion of a Road in the County of Halswell exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of February, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Halswell County Council on the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, viz.:
“The Halswell County Council, having control of the roads in the County of Halswell in the Provincial District of Canterbury, hereby by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the road adjoining the land contained in C.T. 71/88 and 15/16, and running north-west and south-east between Lots 15 and 16 and 14, 17, and 33, D.P. 54, the respective properties of Diederich Hauschild, Jas. J. Doyle, Andrew C. Doyle, and Bridget Doyle, and coloured pink on plan attached hereto, and that the common seal of the County of Halswell be affixed hereto”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting either side of the portion of road (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road situated in the Canterbury Land District, County of Halswell, fronting Lots 14, 15,·16, 17, and 33, D.P. 54, Block VI, Halswell Survey District. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 83557, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising by the Central Electric-power Board of Portion—viz., £35,200—of a Loan of £37,100, on the Instalment-repayment System, and prescribing the Rate of Interest in respect thereof.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of February, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Central Electric-power Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) has been authorized to borrow, in respect of a loan to be known as Redemption Loan, 1931, the sum of thirty-seven thousand one hundred pounds, and the sum of thirty-five thousand two hundred pounds has not yet been borrowed:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent consent as required by section one hundred and fourteen of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, to the borrowing by the said local authority of the said loan at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and by sections thirty-two and one hundred and fourteen of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan up to the amount of thirty-five thousand two hundred pounds, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds ten shillings per centum per annum, upon terms of making the said loan together with interest thereon repayable by instalments extending over a period of twenty-six years.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of February, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Central Electric-power Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) has been authorized to borrow in respect of a loan to be known as Special Loan, 1931, the sum of forty thousand pounds, and the sum of fifteen thousand pounds has not yet been borrowed:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent consent as required by section one hundred and fourteen of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said section”), to the borrowing by the said local authority of the said sum of fifteen thousand pounds, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said section, and by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby prescribe that the said sum of fifteen thousand pounds, or any part thereof, may be raised in respect of the said loan by the said local authority, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds five shillings per centum per annum, and the said local authority is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum accordingly.
