SCHEDULE.
All that area in the County of Rangitikei comprising Awarua 1A No. 2 West Block, parts Lot A (371 acres 0 roods 26 perches and 82 acres 2 roods), Lot B (217 acres 3 roods 24 perches), Lot C (217 acres 3 roods 24 perches), Lot D (217 acres 3 roods 24 perches), Lot E (217 acres 3 roods 24 perches), Lot F (217 acres 3 roods 24 perches), Lot G (181 acres 2 roods 11 perches), Lot H No. 1 (181 acres 0 roods 15 perches), Lot H No. 2 (181 acres 0 roods 15 perches), Lot H No. 3 (299 acres 3 roods 33 perches) in Blocks VI and VII, Hautapu Survey District, part Railway Reserve near Mangaweka, originally part Awarua 4c 4 and 4c 5 (27 acres 0 roods 26 perches), and part Awarua 4c 6 (89 acres 3 roods 8 perches), in Block VI, Hautapu Survey District; part Awarua 1A No. 2 East No. 1 (101 acres 1 rood 39 perches), in Block VII, Hautapu Survey District; part Section 5 (150 acres), Section 5A (15 acres), part Section 8 (360 acres), part Section 9 (374 acres), and Section 10 (2 acres 3 roods 22 perches), in Block VIII, Hautapu Survey District; Section Part 1 (10 acres), Section 1A (59 acres 1 rood), Section Part 2 (65 acres), Section 2A (23 acres), and Section 9 (5 acres 2 roods 16 perches), in Block V, Ruahine Survey District; Section Part 10 (286 acres), Section 16 (7 acres 1 rood), and Sections 17 and 17A (398 acres), in Block IX, Ruahine Survey District, as the said area is more particularly shown on the map attached to the ratepayers' consent to the said loan and thereon bordered red and bounded as follows: All that area contained within a line drawn, commencing in the centre of the Hautapu River opposite the north-east corner of Awarua 4c No. 6 Block, Block VI, Hautapu Survey District; thence down the centre of the Hautapu River to its junction with the Rangitikei River; thence up the centre of the Rangitikei River to a point opposite the north-east corner of Awarua 1A No. 2 West Lot H No. 3 Block; thence across, to, and along the east boundary of the said block in a southerly direction to the south side of Toe Toe Road; thence along the south side of Toe Toe Road in an easterly direction to and across Potaka Road; thence along the south side of Potaka Road in an easterly direction to the west boundary of Section 5, Block VIII, Hautapu Survey District; thence in an easterly direction across Section 5 parallel to its north boundary for a distance of forty chains; thence by a swinging line to Kawhatau North Road to contain an area of one hundred and fifty acres of Section 5 to the south; thence across Kawhatau North Road and along the west boundary of Section 8, Block VIII, Hautapu Survey District, to and along the north-west boundary of the said Section 8; and thence across Section 8 in a south-easterly direction to its south-east boundary, and parallel to the north-east boundary so that the area of Section 8 lying to the south-west shall contain three hundred and sixty acres; thence along the north-west boundary of Section 9, Block VIII, Hautapu Survey District, in a south-westerly direction to a point where a line drawn at right-angles across Section 9 in a south-easterly direction parallel to its north-eastern boundary to Section 10, Block IX, Ruahine Survey District, will contain to the south-west of Section 9, an area of three hundred and seventy-four acres; thence along the boundary of Section 10 in a north-easterly direction to a point where a line drawn at right-angles across Section 10 parallel to its north-eastern boundary to Section 17A, Block IX, Ruahine Survey District, will contain an area to the south-west of Section 10 of two hundred and eighty-six acres; thence along the south-east boundary of Section 10 in a north-easterly direction to the south-west boundary of Section 2, Block V, Ruahine Survey District; thence along the south-west boundary of Section 2 in a north-westerly direction to a point where a line drawn at right-angles in a north-easterly direction for forty-nine chains, and thence swinging in a south-easterly direction to Rangitane Road will contain sixty-five acres of Section 2; thence along the north-west side of Rangitane Road to Section 1, Block V, Ruahine Survey District; thence along the south-west boundary of Section 1 for a distance of nine chains, and across Section 1 at right-angles in a north-easterly direction for a distance of ten chains; thence by a swinging line to Rangitane Road to contain an area of ten acres to the south-east of Section 1; thence along the north-west side of Rangitane Road to the north-east boundary of Section 1, Block V, Ruahine Survey District; thence by the said boundary in a south-easterly direction produced straight across Rangitane Road to the centre of the Kawhatau River; thence along the centre of the Kawhatau River in a westerly direction to a point where a line drawn on a true bearing of ten degrees across Awarua 1A No. 2 West A Block to the centre of the Rangitikei River will exclude to the west of such line an area of two hundred acres of the said Awarua 1A No. 2 West A Block; thence up the centre of the Rangitikei River to its junction with Toe Toe Creek; thence up the centre of Toe Toe Creek to a point twenty-five links from the centre-line of the North Island Main Trunk Railway line; thence in a north-easterly direction by
a line parallel to and twenty-five links distant from the aforementioned centre-line of railway to the Poroa Road; thence in an easterly direction along the south-eastern side of Poroa Road to the eastern side of the aforesaid railway-line; thence in a north-easterly direction along the eastern side of the said railway-line to the north boundary of Awarua 4c No. 6 Block; thence by the said boundary produced in an easterly direction to the centre of the Hautapu River at the point of commencement.
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of and a correct extract from the minutes of proceeding of the Rangitikei County Council at a meeting of such Council held on the 26th day of November, 1931.

ELLERSLIE TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and all other powers in that behalf, the Ellerslie Town Board hereby resolved as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of both principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Ellerslie Town Board under the above-mentioned Act for the redemption of a loan of £5,000 raised in 1906 for the installation of water-works, the Ellerslie Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-sixteenths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Town District of Ellerslie; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the 30th day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until such loan is fully paid off.

OMARUNUI DRAINAGE BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR SPECIAL LOAN OF £200.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in this behalf by the Hawke’s Bay Earthquake Act, 1931, the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and any amendments of the said Acts, and of all other powers (if any) it enabling, the Omarunui Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing moneys required to repay a special loan of £200, authorized to be raised by the Omarunui Drainage Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of paying the cost of repairing the damage to the Board’s works caused by the earthquake which occurred on the 3rd day of February last, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate on all rateable property within the Omarunui Drainage District, on a graduated scale, in accordance with the provisions of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and its amendments to be of the respective amounts following:
On all lands classified under subsection (a) of section 33: One-fifth (1/5th) of a penny for every pound (£1) of capital value.
On all lands classified under subsection (b) of section 33: One-sixth (1/6th) of a penny for every pound (£1) of capital value.
On all lands classified under subsection (c) of section 33: One-seventh (1/7th) of a penny for every pound (£1) of capital value.
Such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of five (5) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
