IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE BROKEN HILL MINING COMPANY, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of THE BROKEN HILL MINING COMPANY, LIMITED, held in the Council Chambers, Cromwell, on Friday, 20th November, 1931, the following extraordinary resolution was carried, viz:—

Resolved: “That the company accepts the offer for the company’s claims received from the AMALGAMATED KAWARAU GOLD-MINING COMPANY, LIMITED, and more particularly as made in that company’s circular invitation to claimholders issued on the 27th August, 1931; and that the company accordingly transfers its assets to the Amalgamated Kawarau Gold-mining Company, Limited; and, further, that in pursuance of section 6 (1) of the Kawarau Gold-mining Amalgamation Act, 1930, the company be voluntarily wound up.”

Resolved, further: “That Mr. J. L. STEWART WRIGHT, of Cromwell, Accountant, be appointed Liquidator.”

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of BOND BRAKE TESTER, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above company, duly held on the 19th instant, the following resolution was passed:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that JOHN B. GILMORE, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

Creditors of the above company are requested, on or before the 15th day of December, 1931, to send full particulars of their claims to the Liquidator at his address, Bank of New Zealand Chambers, Swanson Street, Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, Bank of New Zealand Chambers, Swanson Street, Auckland, on Monday, the 23rd day of November, 1931, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“That is has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that FRED T. EYRE, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

IN BANKRUPTCY.—IN THE SUPREME COURT HELD AT WELLINGTON.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908 (New Zealand), and of THE NONPARIEL MANUFACTURING COMPANY, LIMITED (in Liquidation), by order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand.

THE creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 30th day of December, 1931, to send their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any) to S. TANSLEY, the Official Liquidator of the said company, at Room 167, 5th Floor, A.M.P. Buildings, Wellington, New Zealand; and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Official Liquidator, are, by their solicitors, to come in and prove their said debts or claims at the Supreme Court House at Wellington, at such time as shall be specified in such notice, or, in default thereof, they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

Wednesday, the 13th day of January, 1932, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, is appointed for hearing and adjudication upon the debts and claims.
