Provided that where one of the foreign States set forth in the accompanying Schedule has not notified its intention that the said Convention shall come into force in any of its Colonies, Possessions, or Consular Judicial Districts by a declaration to that effect deposited in the archives of the Government of the French Republic, the operation of the said Acts shall be and remain suspended in respect of any such Colonies, Possessions, or Consular Judicial Districts until such declaration shall have been so deposited, and no longer.

WHEREAS notice was published in the Gazette of 14th May, 1931, that the Native Minister had decided to apply the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929, to Pukenui 2n 2a and other blocks of Native land or land owned by Natives in the Waikato-Maniapoto Native Land Court District; and whereas the Native Minister has now decided that the block mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall no longer be subject to the provisions of subsection (3) of the said section 23, it is hereby notified that such land is excluded from the said Oparure Development Scheme accordingly.

SCHEDULE.

PART Pukeroa Hangatiki 4d 2D 4a, comprising an area of 1 acre, and being the whole of the land cut off on the western side of the block by a line from the road running parallel to western boundary, and distant 25 links therefrom, to a point 100 yds. from said road; thence turning easterly at right angles, and running to such a point that a line running northerly at right angles will enclose between said lines and road required area, and situated in the Orāhiri Survey District.
