ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of November, 1931.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Gordon Logan Anderson,
Walter Barlow,
Oscar Harry Brailsford,
Charles James Dewar,
Henry Frederick Eggeton,
Thomas Andrew Gilmour, and
James Gordon
to be the Cobden Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Cobden Town Board Office as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
The Roxburgh Borough Council
to be the Roxburgh Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Clerk's Office, Roxburgh, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Extending Close Season for Seals.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of November, 1931.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is enacted by section five of the Fisheries Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, make regulations which shall have force and effect either throughout New Zealand or only in such waters or places as are specified in the regulations, for, among other things, prescribing a close season not exceeding three years, and before the expiration of such term, further extending the same:
And whereas by Order in Council dated the seventeenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and published in the Gazette of the twentieth day of the same month at page 2824, a period of three years from the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, was prescribed as a close season for seals:
And whereas it is desirable to further extend the said period: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the hereinbefore-recited power and authority, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion doth hereby make the regulation set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
THE close season of three years for seals, prescribed by the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council, is hereby further extended for a period of three years from the 27th day of November, 1931.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of November, 1931.

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the 2nd day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and gazetted the fourth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Fixing Sittings of the Court of Appeal.

WHEREAS by the Judicature Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Court of Appeal shall hold its sittings at such times and places as are from time to time appointed by the Governor-General in Council and notified in the Gazette twenty-one days at least before the times so fixed respectively, and shall determine the division by which such sittings shall be held:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
