Land temporarily reserved in the Wellington Land District for Recreation Purposes.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, and the seventy-first section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said sections mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Acts, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for recreation purposes.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—BOROUGH OF LOWER HUTT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 5·32 perches, more or less, being Section 1 of Block XXXII of the Hutt Valley Settlement, and being portion of Section 26, Hutt Registration District, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District. As the same is delineated on plan numbered 169/29, deposited in the Wellington District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 27th day of January, 1931.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Auckland Land District for a Site for an Aerodrome.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3455c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods 6·03 perches, more or less, being Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10; 11, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41 of Section 82, Suburbs of Rotorua: Bounded towards the north by Maida Vale Street, 1582·2 links; towards the east by Hilda Street, 350 links; towards the south by Te Mapu Street, 1582·2 links; and towards the west by Fenton Street, 350 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3455D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 24·6 perches, more or less, being Lots 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 of Section 82, Suburbs of Rotorua: Bounded towards the north by Maida Vale Street, 1354·2 links; towards the east by a public street, 350 links; towards the south by Te Mapu Street, 1354·2 links; and towards the west by Hilda Street, 350 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3455D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
William Reynolds Carey,
John Fuller Esson, and
Arthur Gooch
to be Inspectors under the said Act.

Appointing a Member of the Auckland Harbour Board.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS it is provided by subsection three of section thirty-eight of the Harbours Act, 1923, that in the event of an extraordinary vacancy in the office of a non-elective member of a Harbour Board, the Governor-General shall, by Warrant under his hand, appoint some qualified person in his place:
And whereas Ernest Aldridge, a non-elective member of the Auckland Harbour Board, has resigned his office, and an extraordinary vacancy in the membership of the Board has been created, and it is desirable to appoint a qualified person in his place:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the hereinbefore-recited power and authority, doth hereby appoint Arthur James Parker to be a member of the Auckland Harbour Board in the place of the said Ernest Aldridge, resigned.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 27th day of January, 1931.

to be a trustee of the Hokitika Racecourse Reserve in the place of Gerald Dee, who has been absent from the Dominion for the space of twelve consecutive calendar months.
