Port Chalmers Timaru Ships' goods of Classes A, B, C, and D 25s. 2d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 10 tons per consignment. The charges to be computed in accordance with Reg. 129, General Scale of Charges.
Port Chalmers Oamaru Classes A, B, and C 32s. per ton.
Port Chalmers Dunedin Classes A, B, C, and D 6s. 4d. per ton. The charges on ships’ goods will be computed in accordance with Reg. 129, General Scale of Charges.
Port Chalmers Burnside, for private sidings Artificial manures and raw materials (except lime) for the manufacture of artificial manures, direct ex ship 2s. 1d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 6 tons per four-wheeled wagon. Where the Department provides the labour a charge of ls. 1d. per ton will be made for such loading.
Port Chalmers Benhar Silicate of soda, soda ash, feldspar, whiting, metallic oxides, ground flint, Cornish stone, and other raw materials used in the manufacture of earthenware 26s. 6d. per ton.
Port Chalmers Invercargill Tinplate 45s. 6d. per ton. No sorting-charges to be made when the tinplate is landed mixed with other cargo.
Port Chalmers Invercargill Goods, ex ship 45s. 6d. per ton dead weight. Minimum quantity, 5 tons per consignment. Sorting where necessary will be charged for under the provisions of Regulation 98, General Scale of Charges.
Dunedin Lyttelton Beer, in bulk 56s. per ton. Minimum quantity, 4 tons per L wagon; 5 tons per LA wagon.
Dunedin or Green Island Christchurch Unmanufactured iron and steel 37s. 6d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 2 tons per four-wheeled wagon, 4 tons per bogie wagon. Owners to load and unload.
Dunedin or Sawyers Bay Christchurch Leather, in bales, bags, or bundles 67s. 6d. per ton.
Dunedin Christchurch or Woolston Sheep-skins and hides, loose or in bundles 49s. 2d. per ton. Owners to load and unload. Minimum quantity, 30 cwt. per L wagon.
Dunedin Christchurch or Woolston Wool and sheep-skins in bales, undumped 9s. per bale. Maximum weight, 4 cwt. per bale. Any excess weight to be charged as provided in para. 2, Reg. 74, General Scale of Charges.
Dunedin Christchurch Bedsteads, brass or iron, packed or unpacked, consigned direct from factory 82s. 11d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 5 cwt. per consignment.
Dunedin Christchurch Beer, in bulk 56s. per ton. Minimum quantity 4 tons per L wagon, 5 tons per LA wagon.
Dunedin Christchurch or Middleton Benzine or kerosene in bulk in owner’s tank-wagons. The quantity of benzine or kerosene per tank-wagon on which this rate is chargeable will be the full carrying-capacity of the tank-wagon 64s. 10d. per ton.
Dunedin Christchurch Stationery, packed 82s. 11d. per ton.
Dunedin Christchurch Matches 64s. 10d. per ton.
Dunedin Greymouth Classes A, B, C, and D consigned at Dunedin on Wednesdays 78s. 10d. per ton.
Dunedin Greymouth Beer, bottled, packed in cases 68s. 7d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 4 tons per four-wheeled wagon. Owners to load and unload.
Dunedin Greymouth Beer, in bulk 64s. 3d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 4 tons per L wagon, 5 tons per LA wagon.
