All goods and live-stock that do not pass over the wharves but are landed
on or shipped from or pass over railway lands adjacent to the wharves, and
goods and live-stock loaded or unloaded from or into lighters into or from ships
lying at or adjacent to any wharf or within the limits of the railway lands, except
as specially provided, will be charged half the ordinary wharfage rates.

Goods and produce from and to settlers residing in the Queen Charlotte or
Pelorus Sounds landed or shipped at the Department's wharves set apart for
traffic to and from the Sounds will be exempt from wharfage charges.

Charges for Use of Wharves.

On every vessel, not otherwise specified, lying within the limits of the
railway, for the first month, per working-day or part thereof, per ton net register up to 150 tons .. .. 0 0¾
