PASSSENGERS—continued.

  1. SPECIAL WEDNESDAY FARES TO WELLINGTON (LAMPTON).

Special return tickets will be issued to Wellington (Lambton) from the
undermentioned stations on Wednesdays only :

Tickets issued under the provisions of this regulation from stations Upper
Hutt to Hayward’s (inclusive) are available for travel to Petone or Lower Hutt ;
tickets from Pitcaithly’s Siding are available for travel to Petone.

These special return tickets will be available for return on the day of issue
or following day only.

  1. TRIP BEARER TICKETS, MELLING, LOWER HUTT, PETONE, AVA, WOBURN, OR WATERLOO AND WELLINGTON (LAMBTON).

Trip bearer tickets between Petone, Ava, Woburn, Waterloo, Lower Hutt,
or Melling and Wellington (Lambton) Stations will be issued at the following
fares :—

12-trip bearer .. .. First class, 8s. 6d. ; second class, 6s.

These tickets will be subject to the same conditions as trip bearer tickets
issued under the provisions of Regulation 9.

  1. MILEAGE AND AVAILABILITY OF TICKETS, MELLING, WATERLOO, AND WELLINGTON (LAMBTON).

(a) For the purpose of charging tickets issued under the provisions of Regulations 12, 14, 16, 19, 24, 28, 39, and 40, between the stations set out hereunder
the distance will be counted as follows in each case :-

Wellington (Lambton) and Ava .. .. .. 7 miles.
,, ,, ,, Woburn .. .. .. 8 ”
,, ,, ,, Waterloo .. .. 8 ”
,, ,, ,, Melling .. .. 8 ”

(b) Tickets issued under the provisions of Regulations 20, 21, 22, and the
provisions of paragraphs 6, 7, and 8 of this regulation and subparagraph (a) of
paragraph 9 of this regulation will be available for travel as follows :-

Tickets issued between Wellington Will be available between Wellington
(Lambton) and (Lambton) and
Melling .. .. Lower Hutt, Waterloo, or Woburn.
Lower Hutt .. .. Melling, Waterloo, or Woburn.
Woburn .. .. Melling, Lower Hutt, or Waterloo.
Waterloo .. .. Melling, Lower Hutt, or Woburn.
Petone.. .. Ava.
Ava .. .. Petone.

(c) Tickets issued from Wellington under the provisions of Regulation 24 to
stations in the 17–20 mile zone will be charged the appropriate fares as for the
13–16 mile zone.
