Notifying Land in Hawke’s Bay Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the sixteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, as the time at which the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash or on deferred payments, and I do hereby fix the price at which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.

Town of Napier.

Lot 1 of Subdivision 4 of Section 306: Area, 5·94 perches. Upset price, £170.

Notifying Settlement Land in North Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Monday, the fourteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, as the time at which the settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash or on deferred payments, and I do hereby fix the price at which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Trustees for Public Cemetery appointed—Papakura.—(H.C. 96.)

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by section fifty-five of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the Papakura Town Board to be trustees of the additional portion of the Papakura Public Cemetery, as described in the Schedule hereto, and to have the control and management of the said cemetery.

SCHEDULE.

PAPAKURA PUBLIC CEMETERY.

Lot 20 of Section 10, Village of Papakura, North Auckland Land District: Area, 2 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 6th day of November, 1931.

Chukor (Alectoris graeca) declared to be Imported Game.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred on me by section eight of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that on and from the date hereof the bird known as Chukor (Alectoris graeca) shall be deemed to be included in the Second Schedule of the said Act.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 11th day of November, 1931.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of section 4 of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, been pleased to appoint trustees for public cemeteries as follows:—

Harold Griffith

to be a trustee in place of John Mead, whose seat has become vacant by death, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Foxhill Public Cemetery.

Robert Jardine Torbet

to be a trustee in place of Richard John McPike, whose seat has become vacant by death, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Pollok Public Cemetery.

William Manson

to be a trustee in place of James Manson, whose seat has become vacant by death, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Kimberley Public Cemetery.

Frederick William Hilgendorf

to be an additional trustee to provide for the maintenance and care of the Springston Public Cemetery.

Arthur Baird Martin,
Walter Baird Martin, and
Robert Smith

to be trustees in place of John William Kershaw, whose seat has become vacant by death, and Joseph Arthur Booke, Arthur Martin, William James Martin, and Alexander McLeod, whose seats have become vacant by resignation, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Martinborough Public Cemetery.
