Land in Cook Islands taken for Purposes of Education.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 31st day of October, 1931.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of section three hundred and fifty-seven of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, the Governor-General, with the advice of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of education.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land situate in the District of Tamarua, in the Island of Mangaia, Cook Islands, containing eight acres one rood twenty perches (8 acres 1 rood 20 perches), be the same a little more or less, being the land named “Kotukutea Section Number three (No. 3).” The above-described parcel of land is delineated and edged yellow in the plan numbered 30, signed by the Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga, and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court of the Cook Islands, at Rarotonga.

All that parcel of land, situate in the District of Oneroa, in the Island of Mangaia, Cook Islands, containing five acres two roods (5 acres 2 roods), be the same a little more or less, being the land named “Aremauku Section Number sixteen (No. 16).” The above-described parcel of land is delineated and edged red in the plan numbered 29, signed by the Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga, and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court of the Cook Islands, at Rarotonga.

All that parcel of land situate in the District of Ivirua, in the Island of Mangaia, Cook Islands, containing one acre three roods twenty-five perches (1 acre 3 roods 25 perches), be the same a little more or less, being the land named “Te Rua o te Marangai Section Number four (No. 4).” The above-described parcel of land is delineated and edged blue in the plan numbered 31, signed by the Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga, and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court of the Cook Islands, at Rarotonga.
