CAMPBELL INVESTMENT TRUST, LTD.

IN LIQUIDATION.

At a meeting of shareholders held at the registered office,
Southern Cross Building, Chancery Street, Auckland,
on 13th January, 1931, the following extraordinary resolution
was passed:—

“That the company, by reason of its liabilities, cannot
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the
company.”

All persons having claims against the company will forward
same by proof of debt to the Liquidator before the 14th day
of February, 1931, otherwise they may be excluded from any
dividends that may be declared.

WAIMAKARIRI-ASHLEY WATER-SUPPLY BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and
of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Wai-
makariri-Ashley Water-supply Board hereby resolves as
follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Waimakariri-
Ashley Water-supply District Brown’s Rock Subdivision
Redemption Loan of £8,765, 1930, authorized to be raised by
the Waimakariri-Ashley Water-supply Board under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming the existing
Brown’s Rock Subdivision Loan of £13,000, 1910, the said
Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-seventh
(1/7th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value
(on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property
within that part of the Waimakariri-Ashley Water-supply
District known as Brown’s Rock Subdivision, the boundaries
of which are set forth and described in Proclamation published
in the New Zealand Gazette of the 8th day of November, 1894,
page 1654, and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be
payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten
years or until the loan is fully paid off.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,
the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Local Government
Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers thereunto
enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as
follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges
on a loan of one hundred and ninety-eight thousand six
hundred pounds (£198,600), authorized to be raised by the
Auckland City Council by way of special loan under the
above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of redeeming portion
of a loan of three hundred and ten thousand two hundred
pounds (£310,200), maturing on the 1st January, 1931, the
said Auckland City Council doth hereby make and levy a
special rate of one penny and five-eighths in the pound upon
the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of
Auckland, such special rate to be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan, to be payable yearly on
the first day of June in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

Notice is hereby given that a plan showing the lands
described in the Schedule hereto proposed to be
compulsorily taken by The Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens
of the City of Dunedin, in pursuance of Part II of the Public
Works Act, 1928, for the purposes of widening and improving
the North Road may be inspected at the offices of the Town
Clerk, Town Hall, Dunedin, between the hours of 9 a.m. and
5 p.m. during week days and between the hours of 9 a.m. and
noon on Saturdays: And notice is further given that all
persons affected by such taking are required to set forth in
writing any well-grounded objection thereto, and to forward
the same, in writing, to the undersigned within forty days
from the date hereof.

THE SCHEDULE ABOVE REFERRED TO.

All that parcel of land, containing approximately 27-18
poles, being part Section 46 on a plan of the North-east Valley
District, and being part of the land comprised in Certificate
of Title, Vol. 41, folio 215.
