Land taken for the Purposes of a Street in the Borough of Whangarei.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a street, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Whangarei, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acr 1 rood 30 perches.
Being Lot 3, D.P. 13438, being part Raumanga No. 2 Block.
Situated in Block XII, Purua Survey District (Auckland R.D.), (Borough of Whangarei). (S.O. 26385.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 82354, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of August, 1931.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a harbour-master’s residence; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.
Being portion of Section 5, Square 152.
Situated in Block XIII, Oparara Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 22/45.)
In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 82263, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation defining the Middle-line of a Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication).

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the tenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 81, of the eleventh day of the same month, defining the middle-line of a portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication) in so far as it affects Lot 34, D.P. 9391, Hutt R.D., Block IX, Belmont Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of August, 1931.

Notice withdrawing Land from a Mining District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight (c) of the Mining Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, withdraw from the Otago Mining District that area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of land in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 360 acres 3 roods 39 perches, more or less, being Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, and an intersecting tramway reserve 20 links wide, Block X, Oteramika Hundred, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by a public road, 4025·5 links; towards the north-east by Sections 21 and 7, Block X, Oteramika Hundred, 6436·1 links; towards the south-east by Manson Road, 1110·3 links and 5106·8 links; towards the west by Section 67, Block VII, Oteramika Hundred, 8124·0 links; be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked Mines N. 6/4/18, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Mines, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of August, 1931.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
Murimotu 3B1A1 Block, Karioi Survey District: Approximate area, 390 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of August, 1931.
