NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve will be offered for lease by tender under the
provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public
Bodies' Leases Act, 1908, tenders closing at the District
Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, at 4 o'clock p.m. on
Tuesday, 8th September, 1931.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.-EDUCATION RESERVE.
Geraldine County.-Geraldine Survey District.
PART B, Lot 2, Reserve 939, Block XVI : Area, 78 acres
2 roods.
Loaded with the sum of £11, for improvements consisting
of half-value of 88 chains boundary-fencing. This amount
is payable in cash.
Situated on Canal Road, half a mile from Clandeboye
Post-office and school, and eight miles from Temuka by
fair gravelled road. Soil is fair to heavy swamp land resting
on gravel formation and overgrown with rushes, with a fair
amount of timber in the ground in parts. Altitude about
80 ft. The Department has recently completed extensive
drainage works on the section.
Term of lease five years, without right of renewal.
