Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Block IV, Pareora Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of August, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for plantation purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for river-conservation purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for plantation purposes to a reserve for river-conservation purposes.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 3417, Block IV, Pareora Survey District : Area, 6 acres 2 roods.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve heretofore set apart for gravel purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for river-conservation purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for gravel purposes to a reserve for river-conservation purposes.

Consenting to stopping Portion of Road in Block V, Mangonui Survey District, Mangonui County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of August, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Mangonui County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 2 roods 6 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 15, 16, and 26, Town of Mangonui.

Situated in Block V, Mangonui Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22291.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 82242, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Tatu Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of August, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Edward John Carlyon, jun., Alick Castle, Amos Cornwall, Alan McLean Franklin-Browne, Henry Philp Lilburn, Clarence Martin Howard Nicholls, Cecil Howard Reeves, Ronald Frederick William Ruddick, and Aubrey Thomas Walker to be the Tatu Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, at half-past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Tatu School, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.-TATU DOMAIN.

SECTION 2, Tatu Village Suburban, Ohura Survey District : Area, 10 acres.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth—subject to the conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto, and to the regulations made under section two of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and dated the eleventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twelfth day of the same month, or any regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor (and hereinafter collectively referred to as “the regulations”), and which regulations shall be deemed to be incorporated herein—hereby authorize the Springs-Ellesmere Electric-power Board, duly constituted under the provisions of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925 (hereinafter with its successors and assigns referred to as “the licensee”), to erect and use electric-lines for power, lighting, heating, or other uses within the area added to the Springs-Ellesmere Electric-power District, as defined by Proclamation dated the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and published in
