SEALED tenders will be received at the several Chief Post-offices in the South Island until noon on Wednesday, the 9th September, 1931, for the conveyance of mails between the undermentioned places, for a period of THREE YEARS, from the 1st January, 1932 :β€”

POSTAL DISTRICT OF BLENHEIM.

  1. Blenheim : Delivery of parcels and postmen's overflow bags, daily. (Alternative to No. 1A.)
    1A. Blenheim : Delivery of parcels, daily. (Alternative to No. 1.)

  2. Blenheim, Jordan, Upcot, and Molesworth, weekly. (Alternative to No. 3.)

  3. (a) Blenheim, Jordan, Upcot, and Molesworth, weekly.
    (b) Blenheim, Jordan, and Upcot, weekly.
    (Alternative to No. 2.)

  4. (a) Blenheim, Netherwood, and Tearowhenua, twice weekly.
    (b) Blenheim, Benopai Power-station, and Malvern, weekly.

  5. Blenheim and Omaka : Blenheim along Maxwell Road, over Taylor River-bed, along New Renwick Road to Fairhall Valley, back to Omaka Settlement, Dove Point Road to Middle Renwick Road, Jordan's Cross, and Old Renwick Roads (rural delivery), thrice weekly.

  6. Blenheim and Rapaura, daily. (Alternative to No. 28.)

  7. Blenheim, Onamalutu, Fabian's Valley, Pine Valley, and Te Rou, twice weekly.

  8. Blenheim, Railway-station, vessels in river, and Chief Post-office, as required.

  10. Blenheim, Seddon, Ward, Kekerangu, Clarence Bridge, Mangamaunu, Hapuku School-house, Kaikoura, Goose Bay, Oaro, Conway Finger-post, and Parnassus, daily. (Alternative to No. 11 and Christchurch district No. 50.)
