then, and in any of the said cases, this Order in Council and
every license, right, power, or privilege thereby conferred may
be revoked and determined by the Governor-General in
Council without any notice to the licensee or other proceeding
whatsoever; and publication in the Gazette of any Order
in Council containing such revocation shall be sufficient
notice to the licensee, and to all persons concerned or interested,
that this Order in Council and the license, rights, and privileges
thereby conferred have been revoked and determined.

  1. In the event of this Order in Council being revoked for
    any reason whatsoever, or upon the expiry of the period for
    which the license is granted, the licensee shall, if required by
    the Minister so to do, remove the said wharf entirely from the
    site and restore the site to its original condition within three
    months from the date of revocation or expiry, as the case
    may be, and if the licensee fails so to do, the Minister may
    cause the said wharf to be removed and the site so restored,
    and may recover the costs incurred by the said removal and
    restoration from the licensee.

  2. The construction of the said wharf shall be sufficient
    evidence of the acceptance by the licensee of the terms and
    conditions of this Order in Council.

Order in Council authorizing the Borrowing by way of Hypo-
the cation of Debentures issued by the Wairoa Borough Council
in respect of a Loan of £43,870.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of
July, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL,
WHEREAS the Wairoa Borough Council (hereinafter
called "the said local authority") has been authorized to borrow in respect of a loan to be known as "Water-
supply and Works Redemption Loan, 1931," the sum of
forty-three thousand eight hundred and seventy pounds,
and the said sum has not yet been borrowed:
And whereas the said local authority is desirous of borrowing, pursuant to section thirty-four of the Local Bodies'
Loans Act, 1926, by the hypothecation or mortgage of the
debentures authorized to be issued in respect of the said
loan:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and
the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all
other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf,
do th hereby consent to the borrowing of the said sum of forty-
three thousand eight hundred and seventy pounds by the
hypothecation or mortgage of the said debentures, and the
said local authority is hereby authorized to borrow the said
sum accordingly.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £1,000
by the Hastings Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of
July, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL,
WHEREAS the Hastings Borough Council (hereinafter
called "the said local authority") is desirous of
raising the sum of one thousand pounds pursuant to the pro-
visions of section fifty-one of the Hawke's Bay Earthquake
Act, 1931, by a loan to be known as "Temporary Business
Buildings Loan, 1931," for the purpose of erecting temporary
buildings for business premises (to replace buildings destroyed
by the earthquake) upon sites to be decided upon:
And whereas the said local authority has complied with the
provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926
(hereinafter called "the said Act"), and it is expedient that
the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
under the said Act should be given to the raising of the said
loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by the said Act, and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent
to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan up
to the amount of one thousand pounds for a term of two
years, subject to the condition that the said sum shall not be
borrowed otherwise than on terms requiring repayment by
half-yearly instalments of principal of not less than two
hundred and fifty pounds during the currency of the loan.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £10,000
by the Rangitikei County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of
July, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL,
WHEREAS the Rangitikei County Council (hereinafter
called "the said local authority") proposes, pursuant to the provisions of section three of the Main Highways
Amendment Act, 1928, to raise the sum of ten thousand
pounds by a loan to be known as "Wangaehu-Bulls Main
Highways Loan, 1931," for the purpose of providing the
Council's share of the cost of completing the reconstruction
and sealing of the section of the Auckland-Wellington via
Taranaki Main Highway between Wangaehu and Bulls:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by the Local Government Loans Board Act,
1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in
this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said
local authority of the said loan up to the amount of ten
thousand pounds for a term not exceeding seven years, at
such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders
a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds fifteen shillings per
centum per annum, upon terms of making the said sum,
together with interest thereon, repayable by instalments
extending over a period of seven years.

Order in Council consenting to the Southland Electric-power
Board borrowing Moneys by way of Bank Overdraft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of
July, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL,
WHEREAS the Southland Electric-power Board (hereinafter
called "the said local authority") is desirous of
borrowing moneys by way of bank overdraft for the
purpose of meeting initial losses:
And whereas the said local authority has complied with the
provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926
(hereinafter called "the said Act"), and it is expedient that
the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
under the said Act should be given to the borrowing as afore-
said on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
on him by the said Act, and by section thirty-three of the
Finance Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities
enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the
borrowing of moneys by the said local authority by way of
bank overdraft for the purpose of meeting initial losses, at a
rate of interest not exceeding current bank overdraft rates,
but so that the total amount owing as at the thirty-first day
of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, shall
not exceed fifty-two thousand pounds.
