New Zealand Inscribed Stock Act, 1917.—Closing of Registers.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registers of New Zealand 5½ per cent. Inscribed Stock, maturing 15th January, 1933, will be closed from the 1st July to the 15th July, 1931 (inclusive), for the purpose of the issue of half-yearly interest.

Notice respecting Proposed Alterations of Boundaries, Mangawara Drainage District and Mangawara River District.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and the River Boards Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the Mangawara Drainage District and included in the Mangawara River District.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alterations of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM MANGAWARA DRAINAGE DISTRICT AND INCLUDED IN MANGAWARA RIVER DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 202, Taupiri Parish, Block X, Hapuakohe Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 202, 204, and 206, Taupiri Parish, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the eastern boundaries of Sections 206 and 207 and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 207 and 205 to the southernmost corner of Section 205 aforesaid; thence along the south-western boundaries of Sections 205 and 203, Taupiri Parish, to the westernmost corner of Section 203; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 203 and 202, Taupiri Parish, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section, the point of commencement.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the River Boards Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be added to the Mangawara River District.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposal which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed and forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF AREA PROPOSED TO BE ADDED TO THE MANGAWARA RIVER DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 511, Taupiri Parish, Block VI, Hapuakohe Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of that section to its north-eastern corner; thence along the road forming the north-eastern and eastern boundary of said Section 511 to its south-eastern corner; thence along the southern and south-western boundaries of said section to its south-western corner; thence along the western boundary of said Section 511 to its north-western corner, the place of commencement.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block VIII, Mangaoporo Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Tikiti, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.
