Applying the General Tariff to certain Goods being the Produce
or Manufacture of the Dominion of Canada.—(C. No. 81.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 1st day
of June, 1931.
Present:
THE HON. SIR APIRANA NGATA, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section six of the Customs Amend-
ment Act, 1921, and of all other powers and authorities
enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby apply the General Tariff to all
goods, being the produce or manufacture of the Dominion
of Canada, except goods of the kinds or classes mentioned
in the Schedule hereto (being goods of the kinds or classes
included in the Tariff items and parts of Tariff items numbered
respectively 197, 205 (6), 300 (2) (d), 335, 357 (10), and 389, in
the First Schedule to the Customs Amendment Act, 1927,
and the First Schedule to the Customs Acts Amendment
Act, 1930), and doth hereby direct that this Order in Council
shall take effect on the second day of June, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-one. Goods of the kinds or classes
included in the said Tariff items and parts of Tariff
items, being the produce or manufacture of the Dominion
of Canada, shall be liable to the Customs duties (if any) to
which they would have been liable if this Order had not
been made.

| 205 (6) | Rubber tires, rubber tiring, and inner tubes of rubber for pneumatic tires, n.e.i. |
| 300 | Paper, viz :— |
| | (2) N.e.i., including tin-foil paper, and gummed paper, n.e.i.— |

| 335 | Engines, gas and oil, suited for use on, and on declaration that they will be used only on, cycles, motor-vehicles, traction-engines, or tractors. |
| 357 | Metal, viz.— |
| | (10) Wire, metal, plain, n.e.i.; barbed fencing-wire; wire cut to lengths, looped, twisted, or plain, suited for baling and similar purposes. |
