Suspension of Duty on Cinematograph Film.—(C. No. 76.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day of January, 1931.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE E. A. RANSOM, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section twelve of the Customs Amendment Act, 1921, and all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion doth hereby suspend the existing Tariff (being the First Schedule to the Customs Amendment Act, 1927) in so far as it relates to films for cinematographs and similar instruments, and doth hereby exempt such films from duty under the British Preferential and the General Tariffs. Nothing in this Order in Council shall be deemed to affect the provisions of the Customs Acts with respect to primage duty. This Order in Council shall be deemed to have come into force on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.
