Notifying Land in the Gisborne Land District subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

Wellington, 10th April, 1931.
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I hereby notify that the undermentioned land, being the land known as Ruangarehu Settlement, which has been acquired under the said Act, is subject to the said Act as from 24th February, 1931.
SCHEDULE.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—RUANGAREHU SETTLEMENT.
ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, containing by admeasurement 142 acres 0 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 on D.P. 2329, Ruangarehu G Block, Waimata Survey District: Bounded towards the north by the Waipaoa River; towards the east by the Waipaoa River; towards the south by Ruangarehu Block H; thence again towards the west by the Waipaoa River. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/149/445, deposited under No. 2481, in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block X, Rangaunu Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Awanui, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 2 acres 0 roods 7 perches.
Being portion of part Maimaru Block.
Situated in Block X, Rangaunu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 26353.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81708, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
