Commissioner of the High Court of Mitiaro appointed.

Pursuant to the authority vested in me by the Cook Islands Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Tou Ariki

to be a Commissioner of the High Court of Mitiaro, from the 1st April, 1931, to hold the said office during my pleasure. As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 9th day of April, 1931.

Appointment of Day for Nomination of Person for appointment as Member of Unemployment Board.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Unemployment Act, 1930, and the Unemployment Board Nomination Regulations, 1930, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Thursday, the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, at twelve o’clock, noon, as the day for the receipt of nominations by organizations of workers of persons from among whom a member of the Unemployment Board is to be appointed in accordance with the said Act and regulations to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Walter Bromley.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 15th day of April, 1931.

Pursuant to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons set out in the Schedule hereto, being persons holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, at the places set opposite their names in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
