IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), and by the regulations made on the 12th May, 1914, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 21st May, 1914, the following officers, at the addresses set against their names, are hereby appointed Transmitting and Receiving Officers for the purpose of dealing with all notices by telegraph sent under the said Act or regulations, and of signing such certificates in relation to the service of any such notices as are required or authorized to be signed or given under the said Act or the regulations aforesaid.

The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925.--Notice of proposed Cancellation of Registration.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Poverty Bay Master Farriers' and Blacksmiths' Industrial Union of Employers, registered number 864, situated at Waerengaahika, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

DECLARATION OF ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF THE FIREBLIGHT COMMITTEE OF THE CHRISTCHURCH COMMERCIAL FRUIT-GROWING DISTRICT.
I, JOHN GRAY, Returning Officer for the purpose of the Fireblight Committee elections under the Fireblight Committee Regulations, 1928, do hereby declare that the following candidates have been duly nominated for the election of members of the Fireblight Committee of the Christchurch Commercial Fruitgrowing District, nominations for which closed at Wellington at noon on the 28th March, 1931:
Cone, Frederick William.
Freeman, Edmund.
Pope, Charles Ernest.
Sisson, Frederick William.
Stead, Ernest Alfred.
As the number of candidates nominated does not exceed the number of members to be elected (five), I hereby declare the said Frederick William Cone, Edmund Freeman, Charles Ernest Pope, Frederick William Sisson, and Ernest Alfred Stead to be duly elected.

Motor-vehicles Insurance (Third-party Risks) Act, 1928.
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 4 of the Motor-vehicles Insurance (Third-party Risks) Act, 1928, notice is hereby given (1) that the Norwich Union Fire Insurance Society, Ltd., has notified me of its willingness to underwrite, as from the 1st day of June, 1931, insurance business in terms of the above-mentioned Act, and (2) that the Norwich and London Accident Insurance Association has given me notice of revocation of its willingness to undertake insurance business in terms of the Act as from the 1st day of June, 1931.
