ERRATUM.—In the Schedule to the Order in Council dated the 16th day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and published in Gazette, No. 13, of the 19th day of the same month at page 373, declaring portions of road in Blocks II and III, Mangamuka Survey District, and Block XV, Maungataniwha Survey District, to be a Government road, for the words “Omahuta No. 3a Block, Block III, Mangamuka Survey District, and Crown land, Block XV, Maungataniwha Survey District,” read “Omahuta No. 3a Block, Block III, Mangamuka Survey District, and Crown land, Block XV, Maungataniwha Survey District.”

Certain Lands, in respect of which there are no Electors, excluded from the Borough of Masterton.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS a petition publicly notified, has been presented to me under section seventeen of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1928, by the Council of the Borough of Masterton, praying me to alter the boundaries of the Borough of Masterton so as to exclude therefrom, and include in the County of Masterton, the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land in the said borough in respect of which there are no electors :

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, the boundaries of the said borough shall be altered so as to exclude therefrom and include in the County of Masterton the land described in the said Schedule hereto, being land in the said borough in respect of which there are no electors, and I do further proclaim and declare that the area included as aforesaid in the County of Masterton shall be added to and form part of the Opaki Riding of that county.

SCHEDULE.

AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF MASTERTON AND INCLUDED IN THE COUNTY OF MASTERTON.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being part of the Wellington–Napier Road, bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 65, Masterton Small Farms Settlement; thence south-westerly along the western side of the Wellington–Napier Road to a point 200 links northward from the south-eastern corner of Section 64, Masterton Small Farms Settlement; thence along a right line to the eastern side of the Wellington–Napier Road; thence northerly along the eastern side of that road to a point in line with the north-eastern corner of Section 65 aforesaid; thence along a right line to the north-eastern corner of said Section 65, the place of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of March, 1931.

Amending a Proclamation setting apart and defining Boundaries of Provisional State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of that month at page 3122 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”), the boundaries of certain provisional State forests in Karamea and Westland Mining Districts were defined, and certain other lands in the said mining districts were set apart as provisional State forests under the Forests Act, 1921–22 :

And whereas certain errors were made in the Schedule to the said Proclamation by describing part Provisional State Forest No. 1576; part Provisional State Forest No. 1594; part Provisional State Forest No. 1714; two parts of Provisional State Forest No. 1715; and Provisional State Forest No. 1740, Westland Land District, as Crown land :

And whereas these areas are either wholly or partly national-endowment land, and it is desirable that the errors be rectified :

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section three of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, do hereby amend the said Proclamation by substituting the descriptions in the Schedule
