THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and gazetted the tenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto, other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and gazetted the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto, other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS under the provisions of section one hundred and four of the Rating Act, 1925, and as therein mentioned, the Governor-General may from time to time, for the reasons therein specified, exempt any Native land liable to rates from all or any part of such rates:
And whereas it is desirable that such power should be exercised in respect of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said Act, and of every other power thereunto him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby exempt the Native land named in the Schedule hereto from all rates made or levied by any local authority under the provisions of the Rating Act, 1925.
