THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

George Leaity,
John Edward Makgill,
John William McAulay,
James Grey Ritchie, and
Thomas Simson
to be the Simson Park Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Friday, the twenty-seventh day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, at eleven o'clock a.m.,
as the time when, and the Head Office of the Auckland
Farmers' Freezing Company, Ltd., Endean's Buildings, Queen
Street, Auckland, as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

SIMSON PARK DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Bay of
Islands County, situated in Block XV, Kawakawa Survey
District, containing by admeasurement 14 acres 3 roods
19.9 perches, more or less, being portion of Lot 2 as shown on
a plan deposited at the office of the District Land Registrar at
Auckland, and numbered 23067, and being part Allotment
140, Kawakawa Parish, bounded as follows: Commencing at
a point, being the northernmost corner of Lot 1 on a plan
deposited at the office of the District Land Registrar at
Auckland, and numbered 15044, and being part Allotment 140
aforementioned; thence on the south-east generally by Lot 1
on plan 15044 aforementioned, by the North Auckland Main
Trunk Railway, and by part Lot 2 on a plan deposited at the
office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and num-
bered 12753, and being part Allotment 140 aforementioned,
bearing 235° 11' distance 700 links, bearing 145° 11' 30"
distance 571 links, bearing 235° 10' 30" distance 301.6 links,
bearing 325° 12' distance 199 links, bearing 235° 12' distance
361.7 links; thence on the south-west by part Lot 2 on plan
12753 aforementioned, bearing 323° 43' 30" distance 1634.3
links; thence on the north-west generally by a public road
and by part Lot 2 on plan 12753 aforementioned, bearing
69° 01' 30" distance 155.5 links, bearing 143° 43' 30" distance
302.5 links, bearing 65° 50' distance 1267.9 links; thence on
the north-east by a public road bearing 145° 11' 30" distance
688 links, to the point of commencement. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
l/904, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Ahipara
Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of
March, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint
James Noble Berghan,
Mutu Kapa,
Eyare King,
Charles McKinnon, and
Alan Watson
to be the Ahipara Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Wednesday, the twenty-fifth day of March, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-one, at seven o'clock p.m., as the
time when, and the Mangonui County Council Chambers,
Kaitaia, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board
shall be held.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £720
on the Instalment-repayment System and prescribing Rates
of Interest.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of
March, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Tauranga Borough Council (hereinafter
called "the said local authority") has been authorized
to borrow in respect of a loan to be known as "No. 2 Area
Drainage Loan, 1929," the sum of four thousand four hundred
and seventy pounds, whereof the sum of seven hundred and
twenty pounds has not yet been borrowed :
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent
consent as required by section one hundred and fourteen of the
Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, to the borrowing by the said
local authority of the said loan for the term hereinafter
mentioned, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce
to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate hereinafter mentioned :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by the Local Government Loans Board
Act, 1926, and by sections thirty-two and one hundred and
fourteen of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all
other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf,
doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority
of the said loan up to the amount of seven hundred and twenty
pounds, for a term not exceeding twenty-eight and a half
years, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to
the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of six pounds per centum
per annum, subject to the condition that the said sum shall
not be borrowed otherwise than on terms requiring repayment
of principal by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instal-
ments of principal and interest over a period not exceeding a
term of twenty-eight and a half years.

The North-eastern Side of Portion of Taieri Road, in the City
of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of
the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of
March, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the Dunedin City Council on the tenth day of
December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, viz.:-
"That the Dunedin City Council, being the local autho-
rity having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin,
by resolution declares that the provisions of section one
hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928,
shall not apply to portion of the north-eastern side of
Taieri Road, in the said City of Dunedin, where such portion
of street abuts on part Allotment 3, Township of Lorne, as
the said portion of street is more particularly shown on the
plan annexed hereto, and is thereon coloured brown and
edged with red to its centre-line";
such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

THE north-eastern side of all that portion of street situated
in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Taieri
Road, fronting part Allotment 3, Township of Lorne. As
the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked P.W.D. 81157, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
brown and edged red.
