NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the under-mentioned land having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Canterbury Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

NOTICE is hereby given that the land in the First Schedule hereto will be offered for sale by public auction for cash only, and the lands in the Second Schedule for cash or on deferred payments, at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Monday, the 1st December 1930, at 11 o’clock a.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and amendments.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT. — RODNEY COUNTY. — TAUHOA PARISH.

ALLOTMENT 203B: Area, 4 acres 2 roods 10 perches. Upset price, £10.

Situated on Kaipara Hills — Kaipara Flats Road, handy to Kaipara Flats Saleyards, half a mile distant from Kaipara Flats Railway-station by formed and metalled road. Undulating road, in scrub. All more or less ploughable. Soil pipe-clay on sandstone formation. Suitable for holding paddock for stock.

ALLOTMENT 63: Area, 5 acres 1 rood 1·9 perches. Upset price, £350.

Weighted with £250, valuation of buildings consisting of house of four rooms (bathroom and washhouse under one roof), fowlhouse, and small shed.

This sum may be paid either in cash or by a cash deposit of £25, the balance being secured on instalment mortgage for a period of twenty years with interest at 5 per cent. to New Zealand discharged soldiers and 5½ per cent. to any other person.

Situated about 15 chains from Oratia Railway-station and one mile from Henderson School; eight miles from Auckland. Approximately 2 acres in grass, browntop predominating; 3 acres ploughed and in danthonia; balance swamp. Ring fenced and subdivided into three paddocks. Subdivisional fences poor. Suitable as a worker’s home.

Section is about half a mile from Oratia Railway-station. Access by a formed road, mostly metalled. Medium quality clay soil; all more or less ploughable, but steep in places.

Good house-site from which good view obtainable. Suitable for fruit-growing and poultry or worker’s home. About three-quarters of an hour by train to city and half an hour to Mount Eden. Within suburban railway section.

Hokianga County.—Mamari Village.

Allotment 9: Area, 4 acres 1 rood 15 perches. Upset price, £22.

Village lot on Main Road, Takahue to Kohukohu and Rawene. Two miles from Broadwood and seventeen miles from Kohukohu. Undulating fern land with two gullies.

TERMS OF SALE.

Cash: One-fifth of the purchase-money to be paid on the fall of the hammer, and the balance, with certificate-of-title fee (£1), and loading for improvements, within thirty days thereafter.

Deferred Payments: The deposit of 5 per cent. of the purchase-price, together with £1 1s. (license fee) and loading for improvements, to be paid on the fall of the hammer.
