Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, so hereby set apart the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent
State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVA-
TION REGION.
Part of State Forest No. 1 (Kaingaroa Plantation Extension).
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 54,794 acres, more or less, being Run No. 60,
situated in Blocks XIV, XV, and XVI, Takapau Survey
District, Blocks II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI,
XIII, and XIV, Otukotara Survey District, and Block II,
Maruanui Survey District, and bounded generally as follows :
Towards the south-east by the Rangitaiki and Otamatea
Rivers ; towards the south-west by Runanga No. 2A ; towards
the east by the Rangitaiki River ; again towards the south-
east by Sections 1 and 2, Block II, Maruanui Survey District ;
again towards the south-west by the Napier–Taupo Road ;
towards the north-west by Run No. 90 ; again towards the
south-west by Tauhara Middle No. 4A ; again towards the
north-west by Kaingaroa No. 2 West No. 2 and Kaingaroa
No. 2 West No. 1 ; and towards the north-east by Run 59
(State Forest No. 79, Gazette, 1927, page 2692). As the same
is more particularly delineated on plan No. 54/1, deposited
in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of
August, 1930.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908
(hereinafter referred to as “ the said Act ”), has recommended
that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be
permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient
to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and
subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
LAKE ROTOKINO SCENIC RESERVE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing
461 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks III and VII, Wataroa
Survey District, and comprised in Lake Rotokino and that
portion of the bed of the Rotokino River lying between Lake
Rotokino and a line bearing due west from Traverse Peg K
at the junction of the Rotokino and Wataroa Rivers. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 4/540A, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of
August, 1930.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908
(hereinafter referred to as “ the said Act ”), has recommended
that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be
permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient
to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and
subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing
50 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less, being parts of Sec-
tions 7A and 7B, Kaireperepe Native Reserve, Block VIII,
Linkwater Survey District, and being all the land comprised
in certificate of title, Vol. 36, folio 85, Marlborough Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of
August, 1930.

Waitemata Survey District, Waitemata County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron
Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Waitemata Survey
District described in the First Schedule hereto ; and also
do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second
Schedule hereto.
